Works well
First try at starting seeds and two weeks in very happy. Easy to use, low cost and reusable with replacement pucks makes it a great value. Just follow the directions and add the seeds (lobelia and coleus for my first try) strong growth in 22 of 24 pucks. This was a test for me and I excited to attempt other seeds.

A great start and simple to use
Everything you need to get seeds germinated.Very simple instructions and works quite easily.Used to successfully start several cannabis plants. You can easily pot these up by simply putting the pucks into a larger medium. However, I would recommend using a knife or razor to slice the sides of the puck to make it easier for roots to grow out of it. Not 100% necessary to do, but would help.

Easy To Use Grow Kit To Sprout Your Seeds
Interested in growing your own herbs? Or your own plant seeds? Then this starter kit is more than enough to help with getting little seedlings to grow.INSTRUCTIONS1) Pour warm water into the black dish with the pellets in there.2) Let it stand for a few minutes until all the water is soaked up by the pellets, any excess water should be blotted out.3) Drop seeds in each pod. I recommend cutting the fabric at the top bigger for more dirt surface area.4) Put clear plastic lid on top.5) Give it lots of sunlight and warmth for a 1-2 weeks. Open the lid and spray lightly with water on the top every other day to prevent any mold from growing.6) Remove the lid completely once the sprouts reach about 2 inches, before it touches the top of the lid.7) Let it grow to 3-4 inches before transplanting into a bigger pot. Pay attention to soil, it will dry out quicker so water every few days by pouring warm water every few days, again blot any extra.8) Cut the fabric at the bottom, or cut holes around the pod so that roots will be able to grow out of it.9) Fill a small (4-6") pot with potting soil, place pod in the middle of the soil and throw some light dirt on it to cover the fabric. That's it! It all seems complicated but it can be quite fun, and very fulfilling once your seedlings sprout. I've never had issues with sprouting seed by using these pellet mini-greenhouses. Recommended.

A space saver for starting a small amount of seeds indoor!!
These were easy to use and were great for starting my sunflower seeds! After a few weeks, I was able to transplant them outside. The pods were mostly easy to remove from the container. Through my own fault, I left the sprouts indoor for way too long and the roots were overgrown and started attaching to other pods. Thus, causing a minor problem when removing the pods when it came time to transplant. I had to “rip” them away from each other. Regardless, the pods still held up without any tears. My only complaint about this product is that the container was very flimsy. I was never rough with the container and it somehow had a rip/hole on the bottom causing it to leak when I water the sprouts. I solved this by using the clear top as sort of a drip catcher. I just thought that I’d be able to use the bottom part multiple times if I were to purchase more pellets, but that wasn’t the case. Overall, I’d still give this product five stars.

Seeds germinated, but died
I have used this product for years; this year something went wrong. The seeds germinated slowly and never got large enough to transplant before they died.

Works perfectly and fits even small windowsills
I was concerned that this would be too wide for my kitchen windowsill (we live in a modular home and don't really have "sills" like most houses, it's just a recession for the window to sit in).It fits perfectly and worked perfectly for sprouting my corn, squash, tomotoes, and herbs. You do have to be careful with the lid; I left mine on for the first few days (not cracked like I should have, and that's on me) and some mold started developing on the pods. I just fluffed the soil again with a fork and covered it up, and left the lid off entirely since my seeds had already sprouted.I absolutely intend to purchase more of these in the future and would recommend them to a friend.

Easily an item that should be picked up
If you want to start growing anything indoors, this is the sturdy rock to start your garden on....or soft soil....This thing is cheap, small, and provides pucks of dirt. I'm not sure about anyone else, but that's really all you need, other than some seeds and water. I got a bonsai tree kit, and decided to get this so I can mostly have the extra dirt to plant seeds, since some seeds were like the size of a quarter, but wanted me to shove 5 or 6 into one small puck. I don't care about the germination rates of a puck, I want to know how many plants I got overall. These dirt pucks are great too, probably the only reason this item has a price. I got a little heating mat set up, and when I place it on top, you can feed how warm it is through the top of the dirt puck, a great sign for the heating mat too. I would leave it covered at night, so it'll stay extra warm, and then uncover it during the day so it can get some sunlight. I'm not sure what else I can say to convince you to stop reading and buy it, so I'll just say: but it right now

Perfect windowsill size
These are so easy to use for starting seeds. I went off them for years because I hated having the little nets in my garden, but I’m starting a ton of flowers this year and these have just been easier. They fit right on my windowsill so I haven’t had to use my grow lights, I’d still recommend sowing root vegetables directly into the ground, but for flowers and certain crops they work very well.

1/3 the price at Canadian Tire
It's a great little mini greenhouse. It fits the windowsill very well. I have got a lot of little babies sprouting, but I went to Canadian tire yesterday and it's $4.99 there.
