Klean KanteenStainless Steel Tumbler Cup Double Wall Vacuum Insulated with Klean Coat and Lid - 20oz - Sea Crest (1003068)

I'm amazed by this cup! Firstly, the lid is plastic, which I was disappointed by at first, considering this is supposed to be a Zero Waste alternative, but after some use I am extremely impressed. The silicon ring on the lid that makes the suction is removable and allows for really thorough cleaning. The lid has an open mouth opening to drink from which means no hinges from flippy closures for sugar to dry up in, and no crevaces from sliding closures that are impossible to clean without soaking for 100 hrs in warm water. The open mouth lid is simple and cleans easily the first time, plus the opening is big enough to fit a good amount of liquid (I've put liquids from coffees and sodas to smoothies and milkshakes and they all fit through the opening with no problem!) Since it's so easy to clean I don't predict having any issues that would warrant discarding it after some use like with the other type of lids I mentioned above, plus if it ever breaks, it can be recycled so I got over that part (Type 5 plastic). One thing I found strange was how thick the border of the cup feels when you're sipping. It took a few days to adjust to that, but it wasn't really a problem after that. I ordered the 20 oz because even though I don't drink much coffee I'm huge on smoothies and milkshakes, so I wanted to have plenty of space. Despite having a large capacity it still fits perfectly in a cup holder in the car, and is not too tall (fits under my Keurig when the spill tray is removed). I love the stainless steel bottom, just for the style of it, but be careful when setting down on glass or easily scratched surfaces.Now, about the heat and cold retention. THIS CUP IS AMAZING!!! As far as heat, my coffee lasts HOT for about 2 hrs and then stays warm for another 3 hrs or so, depending on how hot it was when I put it in. (And that is without "warming up the cup" by putting warm water in the cup before putting my coffee inside). Now the truly amazing part is the cold retention! I was so surprised the first time I realized how long this cup stays cold! I put ice and a juice in the cup for lunch at 3p (the cup started in hot car temperature before the ice and drink were poured in, and then was left at room temperature). The ice was still HARD at 7p. It had not even STARTED to melt!! I've tested it several times and always similar results, it lasts for HOURS! Now that time is cut significantly lower if left in a hot car or other extreme heat area, but I am amazed. I would recommend this cup to everyone!! Plus if you prefer using straws for thicker drinks, Klean Kanteen offers a straw lid that goes with this cup (I bought it but my husband claimed it for his cup, so I need a new one now!)By far one of the best investments I have made in my ZW journey, I take this cup everywhere, and since the ice lasts all day, I fill it up before I leave the house and have ice cold water all day, even after several refills! (Unless I start munching on the ice, which is a completely different problem....)

I have a few of these because I cannot have my morning coffee if it’s not in this cup. I can say with utmost confidence that coffee tastes better from this cup. Also, your coffee stays warm for hours - perfectly warm and delicious. It’s easy to clean - I do not put it in the dishwasher. Never leaks! Great price for making me smile every morning.

These tumblers are great quality and were on sale so they were attainable- but the coloured coating on the outside goes all the way up to the lip so it risks cracking over time. I wish they still sold the fully stainless steel tumblers. Coffee stays hot, the lids are very useful.

This cup is so good that I came back to buy another. I use mine primarily for water; I need a covered cup to keep my cat out of it at night. This cover doesn’t hold extra water, so he’s not interested in it. The cup is a great size to hold and is easy to drink from, even if I’m not sitting all the way up.Best of all, though, is the insulation. I hate warm water, and this cup keeps water cold for hours, much longer than my Klean Kanteen bottle. It’ll even still be cool in the morning. The cup cleans well in the dishwasher, and I love the amount it holds. Very pleased with this cup!

Aside from the fact that they keep cold drinks cold for a long time, they're super-easy to clean.

Klean Kanteen produces amazing products. I have used the stainless steel version of this tumbler for years & it is still going strong. (even with a small dent or two) I was thinking about getting another one but see that KK has changed the style so I was overjoyed to find the same older version (that I love) in this beautiful aqua color. I have a variety of other styles in both insulated & non-insulated and they are all wonderful! I highly recommend Klean Kanteen.

Liked: slimmer than most other now popular products and lighter weight so easier to manage, especially when driving. Fits perfectly into car cup holders. Easy to clean cup and lid, no nooks etc accumulating gunk. Fits under mini Keurig once you remove the “pedestal.” Lovvve it!!!Dislike: not much to dislike. Only thing is lid unable to be closed. So ensure not to fill up to top to avoid any spills due to movement, especially when driving/stopping.
