Works as well as I prep.
Hollister is the only brand of ostomy bags I use. I've been at this since my surgery in August but not my first rodeo as my first ostomy I had reversed almost 20 years ago. I like these bags more than the other brand my insurance covered back then (Coloplast). Both ostomy sites are different though. My training from my Ostomy nurse is better this time around too.I prep with warm water wash, then stoma powder as required, Cavilon skin prep, and usually I use a medical adhesive agent to strengthen the adhesive on the bag. I average 5 days per bag! Much better than my first ostomy. Even at the end of the 5th day I notice no odor from the bag contents except when emptying it.There is another Hollister bag I use that has a carbon filter and a belt system for even better support and peace of mind. The science behind that is the belt holds the bag snugly in place with tension that enhances the seal and thereby extending the life of the bag. I use a app that scans the internet for the best price and thats the bag I go with, best bang for my buck.No issues with quality control with this model. The edges are secure, not separation there. No holes opening in the bag itself. The seal at the end of the neck always works unless I get in a rush and neglect to ensure it is closed properly. All in all a well designed, secure and safe bag, imo. I need the security from the bag as I start chemo soon. The last thing I need is to be worried about the quality of my bag while dealing with this cancer.

Purchased for a resident at work. Reordered several times for her without any complaints.

The seal is most important
Easy to apply. I wish it had a filter. Price is nice. Packaging it came in was undamaged.. They don't stick together like some do. The end stays closed good when velcroed.

Exactly what was ordered!
I had problems with a previous distributor sending the wrong product which was completely incompatible, which is important for a medical product. This was exactly what we ordered, and on time!
