I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis a few years ago. I have been using a low profile powerstep orthotic. This orthotic not only relieved my pain, but my foot has healed and I can enjoy going barefoot for limited periods of time without pain. I recently purchased a new pair of athletic shoes and attempted to wear them without changing the insole to an orthotic due to the increased cost of the powerstep orthotic. This did not work. My feet and ankles were starting to hurt again.I looked for a cheaper alternative and found this one. It had good reviews and was HALF the cost. I have had them for a week and I LOVE them. They are not as rigid and hard as the powerstep. But I find the cushioning much more comfortable. The arch support is not as hard and rigid, it gives a little without giving up the support I need. They fit in my athletic shoes perfectly. I recently put on my old shoes for some yard work and found the powerstep very uncomfortable after wearing this one for a week. This is my new go to!

It's day one, hour two, and I'm starting to become rather embarrassed... My feet are oversized both length and width and flat as a ruler. When I was a kid my not-wealthy parents put together the exorbitant amount of money to have a podiatrist make custom insoles for me to try to alleviate horrible shin splints I got while running cross country, if anything they made it worse, never tried that again. Fast forward a few decades and I'm a middle aged man, active, modestly fit, probably leaning toward stout, who is experiencing severe and progressively worsening foot pain and my normal scoliosis back pain seemed to be ramping up as well, (Having dealt with S Curve for my entire life, I just figured it was part of getting older.) This would occur reliably from just a day on my feet doing moderate amounts of landscaping. Have been gritting my teeth through it for months now. The foot pain was getting bad enough I was willing to start throwing money at any potential fix, figured I'd start with the cheapest options and see if some decent insoles helped... I usually have terrible luck, but like anyone else I suppose, a win falls squarely into my lap.I'm having a very hard time believing there isn't a get-myself-committed amount of placebo effect at play here, but that kind of desperate skepticism kinda rules that out doesn't it?They feel like they should be insanely uncomfortable yet somehow aren't?Foot pain is none existent, simply gone. Doesn't "feel a lot better," flat out just doesn't hurt at all, and that includes my knees and ankles.Back pain is less present than it has been in years. Surely not right?I'm starting to think that as I've gotten heavier for the past few years the combination of the added weight on the flat feet had me perpetually slightly leaned forward?Whatever the reason, I'm hours in and still walking around the house with my shoes on, and that's taboo in my house, (these floors were all hand laid by yours truly,) I really don't know how better to describe this, really wish I'd have tried these sooner.

These are pretty good. Takes a little time to get use to them . They do help my feet from standing all day.

These are awesome! I ordered several pairs of KURU footwear… I wanted the same benefit without have been to discard several pairs of work or hiking boots. Decided to try a pair, which easily slipped into my boots. The boots have a memory foam inner sole which is comfortable at first, then, after a couple of hours on your feet, pain begins…After slipping these in and trying them, I was on my feet, working in the yard for several hours, and felt amazing. No pain or adjustment needed. I ordered the same size as my boots which were the 9– 9 1/2, and they slipped right in with no cutting or adjustment needed. Hopefully these will go on sale again and I can pick up a second or third pair. Definitely recommend if you have any heel pain or plantars fasciitis.

THANK YOU.. for this I give 5 stars for their customer service!I wrote my honest review and the product was very comfortable just very narrow for my wide foot.Came with no marking of exactly what size they were and they seemed smaller than the women’s 10 I ordered. But you’d never know since no size is stated on the box or product. They do seem to help with the foot pain but I did notice the toe box of the insert is quite narrow so my foot or toe area slides off the side so your foot starts to hurt by the end of the day. This is another reason I wondered if I had been sent the wrong size. Sadly I will probably discontinue using because of this. I’ve worn them for a week so I will not send them back, but just a forewarning for those who do not have narrow feet. This might be a deal breaker if your feet are wide.

They came new and expediently. They fit perfectly in my size 11 wide shoes. no trimming required.The description didn't mention a high arch support in them, but they do.For me, they weren't very comfortable. My typical foot wear are either new balance or nike air monarchs. 11 WW. But being a bigger guy, I often wear out the cushions in them, before the shoes themselves, break down. I was looking to replace the insoles, to get more life out of them, so I'm trying out several brands of insoles.I have worn these for a week and though my feet seem to tolerate them better after that time, they still aren't what I was looking for. There isn't much "cushiony" feel to them in walking, like I get from a new pair of walking shoes.
