Gordon Ramsay's Ultimate Home Cooking Review: Good book - I'm not a very good judge of this book because I've only tried a few recipes and I'm American so I don't have some of the spices used at my typical grocery store but I did like the recipes I made even though I didn't execute them perfectly. It ranges from very casual dishes (fries and white bread, fried chicken) to very fancy ones (lobster and oysters) Also, it has just savory and also sweet and savory recipes. And it has dishes from many different countries (Mexico, Greece, etc) Review: Happiness is receiving a Gordon Ramsey Cook Book - This was a gift for my granddaughter. She and her husband are avid followers of Gordon Ramsey. They were thrilled to get this book as a gift for Christmas.

let's cook!
Lots of recipes and plenty of variety. Different types of cuisine, some quick to cook meals, some longer to cook meals, and plenty in between. You don't need to be an expert to make any of the meals. As always, Gordon Ramsay and this book inspires you to cook and try different foods. Great for any kitchen!

Satisfactory
I was greatly looking forward to receiving this book and I'm glad it is finally here. The pros are that it has all of the recipes I was hoping for from his Ultimate Home Cooking TV show, and more! There are also lots of photographs, which are always helpful in a cookbook. The cons are that it did take awhile to get shipped, and for the price I was expecting a cookbook made of a little higher quality materials than this, particularly the cover. The pages themselves are thick and smooth, but the cover is very obviously made with very cheap materials. My book arrived with a dent in the front cover and a crease/wrinkle in the paper covering across the back cover. (See photos) Also, it is important to know that the recipes appear to all be written using grams, kilograms, etc. in the measurements and the Celsius scale for oven temperatures. This, of course makes sense given that Gordon Ramsay is from "across the pond", but it is definitely something for Americans to be aware of when considering purchasing this book. Overall, I am happy to own this cookbook, but I feel it is rather overpriced and did not arrive in pristine condition.

I loved this cookbook
As always Gordon Ramsey teaches you how to make incredible dishes, the book has a lot of different recipes that are simple and delicious, it explains you the basics of cooking in an easy way to understand. I have like 50 books about cooking and Gordon's books are always my favorite. What I liked too about the recipes is that many of them are healthy and that goes well with my diet so I can include them in my daily meals. I think this book reflects Gordon's passion and high standards for food Pros: A lot of different recipes to choose Easy and simple to understand Almost all of the recipes are healthy Easy to find ingredients High quality recipes Cons: I love chocolate but there aren't many recipes with chocolate in the book Favorite Recipes so far: -Baked Spicy mexican eggs -Slow braised cheeks with papardelle -Spiced egg and spinach breakfast wrap

Amazing Book
I watched his series where he cooked with his kids on Hulu and it was so wonderful. I tried to write down some of the recipes and failed, so I was really happy to find the recipes in this book. I read cook books cover to cover like novels, and this one definitely did not disappoint. I've already made something from this book after only having it one day. I've seen reviews saying this isn't home cooking, but I respectfully disagree. Tastes differ. Is this Mac & Cheese or Tuna Casserole? No. But if that's what you want don't buy a Gordon Ramsay book. I'm never going to cook every one of these recipes because taste is subjective, but I love reading his point of view and learning new techniques. Highly recommend.

Yum!
Some more delicious recipes from Gordan! Really loved the tomato soup and my husband went crazy for the fried chicken. It is a British version so recipes aren’t in american measuring units. Really not that hard to convert them with a simple “okay google” or “hey Siri” so not sure why people are so annoyed about it.

After being thoroughly put off by Gordon's past behaviour, I've absolutely loved watching the show, learnt a lot, great food, easy to cook & nice to see him engaging with family & showing us he can behave in a respectful manner. Concept of show, knowledge & nutritional advice also fabulous! Would thoroughly recommend this book.
