Battlefield of the Mind for Kids Paperback – June 12, 2006

The media could not be loaded. I'm a big fan of joyce meyer and her books. I've read battlefield of the mind myself. So when I saw this I had to get it for my kids. I love that it teaches our kids how to fight the enemy in a way they can understand. It teaches what God would want us to do in these situations. And how to handle them. The stories and scenarios are relatable making it easy to put yourself where they are. The questions got my kids thinking about what they would do in that situation. Its a great way to pique their interest. There are also quizzes in the book. But I haven't seen any diary pages. I've seen that advertised a couple of times and I looked all through the book. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what diary pages are? Still even without that it's a must read for your kids. I read it to mine and we all get involved. Its a great way to feed your child's spiritual growth. In these times, it's so important to have a spiritual foundation. I'm glad I found this book and pray that many others will make use of it too. I love Joyce Meyer and her book “battlefield of the mind” changed my life during a very trying time when my dad was terminally ill. I wanted to explain it to my daughter in terms she could understand and this book does just that. I recommend it for everyone, no matter what age.

Joyce Meyer knocks it out of the park with a child-centered version of her best selling book (“Battlefield of the mind”). My son and I read this book together and talk about the different scenarios presented. I know that I am doing all I can to equip him for this world, and this book is tremendously helpful. My son is 8 and this book is developmentally appropriate. There is also a teen version which we purchased for our teenager.

Easy to read and understand by kids.

Caught my grandsons attention

Joyce Meyer books have all made us stop and think what am I doing, how can I change my situation. This lady took the time to do a book for children on the battlefield of the mind. Wow, this book has so many mind thoughts that kids experience. How many times have you asked why are you doing that, what made you think you could get a way with that. What are our kids thininking? So many times they are not aware of why they did what they did until confronted. If we have these same problems how much more do our kids. Between school and home a child has a lot to contend with. Sometimes we don't know why our child is misbehaving. What is he thinking, why is he acting out, what can we do to help him. This book is full of situations to help you and your child learn" to think about what he is thinking about " per JM and it has Scriptures to back it up key figure drawing and questions as you go through the book. I highly recomment this book to all parents and those who are taking care a child, its even good for you to use with your teens.

The information being provided is great and i believe my child will be able to relate. I gave it 4 stars b/c i thought the language may be a little above his vocabulary (he's 10). I thought there words that could have used that a 10 yr old would know and this happens quite frequently throughout the book. I am reading it with him so it's not so bad but he will def need my help or a dictionary.

This was going to be a Christmas gift, but I could tell my son has been having some challenges especially at school that were wearing on him. After two days of him being in tears about some things holy spirit left me to give this to him yesterday. His whole countenance changed and he could totally relate to some things he read. The icing on cake was when I showed him that daddy and I are reading the adult version so now we can all read the book. He wanted to take the book with him at school today. One of the sections about gossip resonated to him bc if the behavior of kids at school towards him. He had a new tool in his tool belt. Now he wants to meet Joyce Meyer 🤗. I told him God gave her the words to write in the book and He can answer all of his questions. I'm sooo overjoyed they resent an undamaged book so I could help heal my son's heart that was being damaged by behaviors of kids at school. He also wants to spend time reading together with his dad so that it can help them get along better. Such a smart kid. Thankful for this book.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 says For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 6 And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.The enemy has an always will be after our minds I can’t tell you how important it is to teach your kids the word at a very young age because the enemy is not concerned that they are children he’s trying to wipe out them from early age and we see it every day that kids are committing suicide. We kids but have the word of God in their mouth because we know that that is the only thing that can demolish the lie of the enemy. Don’t wait till they are teenager to teach them Gods word. We see it in scripture that God used and spoke to children as young as 6 years old. Please continue to pray and Cover them in the whole Armour of god and that the angels of the Lord would encampth around them not only at home but school and where ever life takes them. Anointing when with oil when led by the Holy Spirit.I have the adult version of this book and ready it along with the Word and God is teaching me for sure

This book is an incredible book for kids who are dealing with different emotions, anxiety and a wondering mind..I am a fan of Joyce Meyer, she most certainly has a way with kids in the way she has written this book, she helps kids understand their thoughts, anxiety and guides them through Christ on how to handle situations & thoughts while referencing bible scripture, it is wonderful to read with your child to see how they develop through this book.I highly recommend this book..

I am a big fan of Joyce Meyer's teachings. So I got this for my kid.It is just easy for children to understand what God expects from them.Very very encouraging for my kid to through everydat school life.
