I used these to cover my sneakers when I volunteered at a large pit bull rescue. Besides walking dogs, I cleaned kennels, washed hundreds of food bowls and helped launder dozens of towels and blankets.The rescue was housed in a large warehouse. The floor was wet from the runoff from the kennels. The first time I worked there (before I had this product) I spent almost an hour afterwards scraping dog poop out to the treads of my sneakers. I just installed new carpeting which is very light in color. I can now give visitors a choice: either remove your shoes - or - please put on a bootie. A few people have chosen booties and they are comfortable, The only issue is to provide a place near the door for them to sit on while slipping on the bootie. Not everyone can stand on one foot while doing this.
