Good Everyday Green Tea
For those of us who take our tea with the seriousness it deserves, the WT WEETEE Organic Sencha Green Tea Bags offer an entry-level experience into the elegant world of Japanese green tea. While they fall short of artisanal loose-leaf quality, they still provide a respectable cup for the discerning palate—if you’re willing to forgive a few compromises. The Aroma and Flavor The aroma upon steeping is subtle but pleasant, with grassy and vegetal notes that hint at the tea’s sencha heritage. On the palate, the flavor is smooth, slightly astringent, and refreshingly umami-forward, though it lacks the complexity and brightness found in premium loose-leaf sencha. A slight bitterness emerges if over-steeped, but for those experienced in green tea brewing, this is easily avoided. Convenience Meets Quality The tea bags themselves are well-constructed, making them a convenient alternative for busy mornings when fussing with loose leaves feels too indulgent. However, connoisseurs will immediately note that the bagged format limits the tea’s full potential. The cut leaves in the bags lose some of the nuanced oils and delicate sweetness that whole leaves would provide. Still, for a tea bag, this is decidedly a step above the generic grocery-store fare. Organic Credibility Knowing the tea is certified organic adds to its appeal, particularly for those of us who demand purity in our beverages. The absence of pesticides allows the natural flavor profile to shine, and it’s reassuring for anyone striving to align their tea-drinking habits with their eco-conscious values. Presentation The packaging is understated yet tasteful, as one would expect from a product aspiring to sophistication. However, the absence of nitrogen-sealed individual bags might irk purists, as freshness can diminish once opened. A tin or resealable pouch would elevate the overall experience. Who Is This For? This tea is for those who appreciate a decent sencha but don’t have the time (or inclination) to brew loose leaves properly every day. It’s also an excellent introduction for budding tea enthusiasts who want to explore Japanese green tea without the intimidation of higher-end offerings. Final Thoughts The WT WEETEE Organic Sencha Green Tea Bags are a solid effort for their category. While they don’t rival the sophistication of ceremonial-grade teas, they’re a respectable choice for a mid-tier, convenient green tea experience. If you’re a seasoned tea aficionado, you’ll notice the shortcuts—but if you’re just looking for a soothing, organic cup, this tea will suit your needs with a touch of understated elegance. This is a reliable companion for the everyday tea drinker with elevated tastes.

Sencha Made Affordable
Love the tea and bags. No strings though. Taste is great. Strength is solid. Cost is fantastic.

Good Tea!
Good tea! I'm sensitive to caffeine, so I mix this with a few regular ones for my Kombucha. Good flavor, and I like that the bags are tagless

Mild, not robust
This tea is very smooth, with the characteristic smokiness of lapsang souchong. It’s quite mild, tasting more like an oolong than a black tea, and the color is fairly light. Possibly it was made with less flavorful leaves than other black teas. The smokiness is evident but again mild; it balances well with what flavor there is from the tea. If you want a nice robust black tea with distinct smokiness, try something else. This is a pleasant tea for sipping, but the lack of black tea flavor keeps it from really standing out.

Deliciously smoky flavor!
Lapsang Souchong is a gourmet tea with a curiously smoky flavor, created by roasting the tea leaves over pine needle fires. It is definitely an acquired taste of sorts, but it is said that it was a favorite of Sir Winston Churchill, so if you enjoy it (as do I), you’re in good company. This WeeTee organic variety is superb… you can smell the smoky aroma the moment you open the resealable package. Once brewed, it has a delightful balance of tea and smoke, not at all overpowering. This product is also USDA Certified Organic. Highly recommended!

Tastes Like Chlorine - Other Brands of Tea Don't
This tea tastes really bad - distinctly of chlorine. I only bought it b/c our usual tea was out of stock. Suddenly I thought something was wrong with our water. But no, it was this tea. When we switched back to the other tea, no more disgusting flavor.

Worth It
Great product. Difficult to find organic green tea decaf bags. These are great with no staple. I drop one in my water bottle before heading out the door. Makes me drink my water.

I just started drinking this tea as recommended by Dr. Sinclair for burning visceral fat and it's also good for lowering cholesterol. The taste is great and one tea bag makes 2 cups easily. It is considered high in caffeine so it's good in the morning and before late afternoon. I recommend this product!

I would have just returned this quietly, instead of writing a review, but since this item is ineligible for a return I guess this is my only option. I've been drinking dandelion tea for a while now and this "organic dandelion tea" is weak and etrocious tasting. It's horrible. I'm extremely disappointed and want to return it!!!! There are a hundred tea bags and unless they will allow me to return it they are going in the garbage. Awful. Update. I'm trying to drink this honestly, but you need two teabags to actually make one 10 Oz cup, or it will be like hot water with pooh in it... but even when you put two it is really almost undrinkable. I hate wasting this money but I may have to just throw it out.

Order came quick...exactly as prescribed. Tea has a mild, slightly sweet flavour. Dr. Gundry books got me on to this tea and l like it. I don't add sweetener or cream cause it has such a nice flavour. I have bought both loose and teabags. Both great teas loaded with antioxidants.

The organic certification appears real but I can't find out who or what Weetee is. OR WHERE? Why is this hidden?????? Does anyone know? Great tea - love it but finding out I am drinking something 'organic' from an unknown source is a bit scary. Can anyone verify where this tea comes from???? THANKS!!
