Very clever design. Easy-to-use, appears well made, size perfect for my parakeet or could work for a bigger bird. It's easy to carry or wear like a backpack. Was worried about ventilation but it is adequate.My bird even likes it!

I honestly bought bc I needed to get a carrier to take my bird to the vet/outside and I think it’s great! Very cute! I wish there were grommets higher up for the perch but otherwise very nice!! Bird started exploring immediately

Really well made. Lots of shade and and air flow. Love the big window. Only complaint. Make an extra set of holes for perch stick. My bird gets his feathers smooshed in the back and cannot face forward.

I think this bird backpace is well made. I like The adjustable perch height, and what I love most is that you can take the tray out from the bottom without opening the backpack itself. That’s the reason why I got it. It’s lightweight. It feels good on your back. Those are the pros now, The cons: when I opened it, it smelled, I don’t know if it’s the plastic or what but something was offgassing really bad. I set it in front of a fan for two days to try and get the smell out. I’m afraid to put my bird in there now because birds are very sensitive to pollutants in the air , so we’ll see if the smell goes away. The second thing I’m very concerned with is the cups. The cups are made of cheap stainless steel and the screws holding them onto the clamp are rough edged so the bird can cut their tongue on the screw edge if they lick it. The other thing that was really dangerous was the clamp itself that holds the cups to the perch. The top rings around the clamp are sharp, razor sharp and I’m afraid to put my finger on it because I’m afraid it will cut my finger. This is very dangerous for a bird. They use the cheapest material for the clamp. If I could find a backpack that I could take the tray out from the bottom and had a full zippered mesh from the top to the bottom in the front. I would get that rather than this backpack. However, I couldn’t find one. Would I buy this one again, I don’t know. I haven’t used it yet outside but we’ll see. I’m afraid that when it gets in the sun and the plastic gets hot, it might start offgassing again and this really worries me , I may have to sew some mesh on the plastic and then cut the plastic away so that the bird is not exposed to it. I’ll have to see what happens when I set it out in the sun before I put my bird in it. He has been with me for 25 years and I would hate to lose him over something that I bought us a treat for him. It is easy to assemble. The size is great. I have a Jardine parrot and he fits in there wonderfully. It’s spacious. It’s got a lot of positives just plastic in the front and the cheap cup are my only complaints and there’s no place to attach a cup of my choice. Otherwise I would use my cups. I’ll have to figure out something else to put in there for him. Hope this helps.

I bought this for my Eclectus. I used a cat carrier but he was so scared in it the first time. I washed to make sure I bought a bird carrier that was vented on ALL sides, had room for a perch and room for him to stand in the ground if the perch was to much for him to balance on in the car. This is perfect for car rides. He is about 12-13" long so his tail just touches the floor & the back wall with the perch in the upper position. At first this bothered him, but then he realized it's kind of helpful for balance. I didn't use the grate on the pan in case he fell. I think I'll put a towel there instead cause his snacks side around the metal and he can't get them lol. I didn't use the cups.Please be sure to get a carrier with lots of venting. Imagine someone putting you in a plastic box only 3 times your width and placing you in the sun for even a few minutes, plus your breathing. It will get way to hot for your bird. This one is perfect.*Note: If your parrot is a chewer and eats the bag somehow, don't blame the bag. That's ridiculous. It's your birds fault not theirs. Buy a metal carrier instead obviously.

The media could not be loaded. There's flaps for darkness on the front and on both sides, there's a zip up mesh spot in the front with a clear plastic barrier on the front, and there's plastic barriers on both sides. There's holes all around for air. It came with a perch and two stainless steel cups for food/water. The bottom has metal bars and a metal pan that can be taken out through a pocket on the side. I used this when I bought my bird for transportation, 10/10 purchase

This carrier is everything I needed to take my parrot on a trip with me! It was so convenient for us to transport her and it kept her feeling safe and fed! So glad I found it!
