Gift Republic GR100030 : Adopt A Meerkat Gift Box

I bought this as a birthday present for my partner. We both love meerkats and I was stuck for ideas on what to get somebody who has pretty much everything. I was a bit unsure after reading some negative reviews about this gift but I'm glad I went with it. What you get is exactly what it says on the tin, yes, it's not very much but you don't get any less than what it says. There are some fun facts about meerkats inside so we both learnt something new and it was a totally different type of present. My partner was really pleased with it.

Bought for my daughter's birthday which she thought was great. The only thing which we were disappointed about was that there is no personalisation to the year's sponsorship. There isn't a particular meerkat that you sponsor and receive a photo of, with a name etc and therefore, there are no updates over the year either.

I chose this rating because I did like it. I wanted to buy a gift for my sister and as she is quite disabled with arthritis and love Meerkats I thought this would be ideal and she loved it. she now collects meerkat dolls.

Initial box arrived much to my girlfriend's delight but we have received no updates since, no name certificate or updates. Disappointing.

If you wish to help out Alexander Orlov's fellow Meerkats in Africa this is a great idea for that special person in your life or if you just wish to help out the Meerkats yourself. Your sponsorship for a year will help out with safeguarding these wonderful creatures in their native habitat. There is only one word for this gift - simples!!!!!!!

Bought this for my fiance, and I'm really chuffed with it. A big pack of information in a smart tin, this set even includes information on where you can go to visit your meerkat should you want to. Once you register your meerkat you are it's sponsor for a year, and will be sent a photo of 'your' meerkat. I like the concept of helping charity while gifting, and this was a fun way of doing it.
