It's tough and strong, doesn't fray. Casts well, but color can be difficult to see. Can be difficult to cut. On the upside it doesn't break.

Very thin line. Haven't used it. will have to wait til spring to use it.

First time braid user, I like this product, but I found out that a leader line is good to use because this is hard to break and you can not hardly break it if you get hung up. The leader will break and save you a fishing pole.

This line is very strong and durable and the price is great compared to other fishing line at sporting good stores.

Bought these for my new bfs rig. First to note, this is thicker than my FireWire 8 lb braid. I paid a lot more for FireWire so I figured I'd let that pass. It's a pretty small sized spool for a 1k meter, but it's also 6lb so I guess it's normal, but I have really no idea if it's actually 1k meter or not. I tried to tie it on my spool and that's when the trouble began. I tied it using my normal spool tying method and my spool had places to anchor since it's a bfs reel so I tied it directly without a mono backing. After the line was tied, I pulled to get the slack out and it snapped clean. I observed and it looks like it wasn't broken at the knot, but about 5cm from the knot. I thought maybe I pulled a bit too hard so I tried again. Second try, same result. Third time, I cut off about a meter just in case and this time it worked. I spooled it up, tied my mono leader of 6lb mono and no issues this time with the line breaking. I pulled pretty hard as usual and no breaking this time. Then I took it out with an 1/8oz jig on it and did some casting. First cast was fine. Second cast, the line snapped and my lure went flying. Well, there goes my lure, and back this spool goes. Definitely some QA issues with this spool. Time wasted, lure wasted, and I guess I'll just use a 8lb FireWire instead as that never gave me issues and it's even thinner!

The Good: line is of overall good quality, strong enough, limp and easily castable. I've used several different weights of this line and it has all been of equal quality. Ignore any review that complains about line twist, that is never a problem with the line, but the user. The Bad: It is made in China.... The Ugly: The dye does tend to rub off on your fingers the first time you spool it up. I generally use a folded up paper towel to apply tension, thus avoiding green hands.

凧揚げに使用していますが、糸自体は縒りもなく非常に良いと思います。ただ残念なのは糸の色落ちが酷く、手や指が緑色になってしまします。手袋をしないと気持ち悪いです。凧揚げには無色の糸をお勧めします。
