Arnak quickly became a family favorite, but of course they don't want to play as often as I do! Enter this expansion with lots of great stuff and most importantly, a really well-crafted, engaging, replayable and totally tough solo (or cooperative) campaign mode. My only teeny complaint is that it is REALLY tough to advance very far down the paths to benefit from the story texts and added bonus cards. Even if I did well at a particular level, the randomness of the rewards meant crossing off parts of a different path each time. By the time I got to the 6th level, I hadn't finished any of the paths so couldn't benefit from them at all. Not a huge gripe as I still had lots of fun and even replayed a few solo campaigns--which each felt very fresh each time. Regarding the two new leaders, I found the mechanic really powerful and engaging, but the journalist, though a clever idea, never panned out to be useful.

Its a campaign expansion for one of my favorite games. I am not into campings unless I can solo it, and thus one is good. If you like arnak, if you like coop/solo then it is good. No story tho, the story is very shallow and not interesting
