Does not tighten until snug. Refuses to keep tightening and loosening skips teeth. Feels really cheap. It's too bad because the shape feels really good but the securing system is way too cheaply built.

Came as described, I didn't like the company name stamped in yellow on the front of the hardhat. The straps and the adjustment knob came installed backwards as I and most people would wear a full brim hardhat. The longer section would go in the back, had to completely take it apart and reassemble correctly. Decent if you want a cheap hardhat, but I would highly recommend spending more to get something better. Would not buy again. Shipping was great.

The feel good stuff:Anybody who works construction needs a good OSHA approved hard hat. This one is stamped inside the brim ANSI/ISEAZ89.1-2014 Type 1, Class C HDPE with manufactured date.Having worn my fair share over the years, I gotta say this is the most comfortable. It fits snugly, down on my head, has an easy twist tightener on the back of the band, so it doesn't feel like it's about to fall off. The chin strap is excellent, easy to adjust, and is dang comfortable which is important to keep your PPE from falling off when bending to work. It has a great brim to help on those sunny days and adjustable cooling vents on both sides of helmet as well. This is a good quality hard hat with nice finishes.The problems:This is not ABS. It is stamped HDPE which has a lower density, hardness, and strength than ABS.This is not Carbon fiber, and although they don't say it is, they hint strongly at it with name and pattern.Stickers. I get needing to market; however, personally I don't want to spend ten minutes removing stickers from my new hard hat.Testing: Haven't had a brick or hammer dropped on my head yet to test it, but the day is young.Overall, good helmet for it's price point and designed usage. Boo on the marketing.Remember, wear a helmet. It might save you life.All the best.
