Lovely Cutlery At A Bargain Price
Very nice everyday cutlery from Arthur Price for Monsoon Mirage range, in a classy stamped design. The cutlery has a good weight and feels comfortable in the hand, though as others have mentioned, the knife pattern is slightly bigger but it’s not particularly noticeable. The knife handle isn’t flat but the other pieces have flat handles. I put mine in the dishwasher and they clean up fine, it says on the box dishwasher safe. They were a very good price when I purchased them and they look really nicely made too, so I’m happy to recommend them.

My favourite cutlery set
Looks stunning! I had to buy the second one to top up my first set. I’ve been using it since 2019 and had no issues at all. Good quality cutlery

Inconsistent Pattern Quality - not as good as I remembered.
I previously bought this Arthur Price Monsoon Mirage set from another retail outlet and it was really beautiful. In fact, when my daughter left home, she took it with her, it was so nice. I have been searching for the set again and was pleased to see it available via Amazon. What I particularly like about this set is overall, I think it looks modern and stylish. I like the hammered look. I love the weight, balance, length and roundness of the knife handle. It makes it comfortable to hold. Other cutlery sets have too narrow a handle or handles with edges that dig into my palms and hurt my hands. The knife also has a serrated cutting edge, which makes it lovely and sharp. I also like the large fork head for scooping up the vegetables. Overall, I think the look of this set is modern and stylishI am disappointed by the length of the teaspoons. They are short for use with modern mugs and cups. Also, this set doesn’t have the same balance and consistency of design as I remembered. In my photos, I've shown it against a cake fork and slice set of the same design, where the pattern scale appears more proportional.I’ve tried to show this inconsistency in the photos, though I can’t get good lighting or camera angle. Then looking more closely at the cutlery set, it looks almost like every implement has a slightly different size of design and pressure from the stamping process. It is particularly obvious with the knives. Looking at the photo on the Amazon page, there isn’t that obvious difference in the pattern size as you scale up. I doubt most people using the implements will pay such close attention to those details. I only noticed, because other reviewers commented on it.I bought this set from the Amazon seller Harts of Stur and I’m confused that this is supposed to be an Arthur Price cutlery set, yet on the site, it says the brand is Ottosvo(?). Surely, Arthur Price is the brand and the name of the design is Monsoon Mirage.I checked with my daughter and the original set has the same difference in pattern scale. She still really loves the set, so I suspect she will run away with this set too, to increase her place setting.

You get what you pay for
There were plenty of cheaper sets to buy, however I chose these thinking they might be better quality and they are exceptional, they look pretty on the table too, might get another set at a later date while they are still available.
