Laguna Pond Phos-X Phosphate Remover

this does not seem to be a useful way to reduce phosphate
Had difficulty in reducing phosphate levels in a 880 gallon pond. Hagen's help desk offered several suggestion and suggested that the extreme weather was the main cause of high phosphate and pond weed growth. They suggested I buy more Phos-X and put a 3rd bag into the filter system. The success of the product, if any, seems to be subject to many variables, temperature, number of fish, number of plants, what is in the pond, what is it made of, is the water in contact with concrete, is it in direct sunlight, how often is the water changed etc. As every pond will be different, this does not seem to be a useful way to reduce phosphate.
