Perfect for upgrading OEM adapter
Worked perfect for converting my OEM PS2 network adapter from IDE to SATA. Fit perfect and easy to install. Clear instructions included. Worked perfect instantly.

A great upgrade for ps2 adaptors.
Works well on my official playstation 2 network adaptor, was fairly easy to install. So far so good on compatibility with sata drives, I feel it's a fair value, good quality build and looks great. The only tough part was getting the spacers aligned in place when securing the circuit in place, but not that big a deal.

Works Great
Worked perfectly with my orignal PS2 network adaptor. I was able to install PSBBN and OPL on a 1TB SSD. The install is alittle awkward but should not need to change it anytime soon/ever.

Works good!
Easy upgrade. Fit right in to my OEM network adapter. 6 months later still works great. My only word of advice is be SUPER CAREFUL taking the old connector out. There’s a tiny connector on the board in the network adapter that broke pretty easily on mine, and I had to painfully solder it back on. No fault but my own, not an issue with the adapter, just a warning to be careful for anyone else.

Not official BITFUNX, but… works the same!
Please note: this is not an official BITFUNX PS2 Network Adapter SATA Upgrade. It is in fact a knock off, but one that WORKS perfectly. Not sure why XBERSTAR would try to trick people. Perhaps the brand printed on the side sells the item more effectively. Either way, this was the far better alternative to the off brand SATA adapters for PS2 from Mviioe or Bitfunx. Those third party adapters stutter with more demanding HDD games… installing this into an official Sony brand network adapter fixes all performance issues I was experiencing. Thanks for the product!

This in combination with a 2,5" ssd, made my old PS2 nearly silente. Easy to install in the orihinal Sony Network Adapter.

Breathe NEW life into your PS2
Very nice and awesome little piece of kit.. It was packaged well in a small bag but nothing could move around. Everything needed was included. I used this on my official Sony PS2 network adapter.. just remove a few screws, ribbon cables and a small power plug and you're done - it sounds daunting but it isn't, the included instructions are simple, clear and concise. Just take your time. Now you can connect a ssd to your PS2 and with FreeMcBoot and OPL.. games galore. Oh, one thing I would recommend is buying a 3.5" ssd caddy, this way your ssd won't be moving around inside the PS2.
