Perfect for growing moss on these. Been using them to grow moss from outdoors and the moss is thriving. Also use these for fish tank to add some interesting scenery.

The rocks were placed in a propane fire pit and they exploded after heading. They even caused other rocks in the fire pit that were previously heated to break. One rock exploded hitting my brother in law in the finger injuring him. I would not buy these. They are unsafe. Someone could be serious injured by the way they exploded and flew through the air.

We put these rocks in our gas fireplace to give it more glow and ambience. They worked like a charm and are beautiful when they glow. Fast shipping and good quality.

These rocks explode. Put them in a small propane fire pit and at first they were ok. Started to crackle a little and then pop. Then they really started to go crazy Throwing chunks like the size of your fingernail 5 ft away. melted my pit matt for my dirt bike. I would avoid these.

I put them around the base of as many flowers as I could because, I figured with the texture it would help keep snails and slugs from getting on there and feasting on my foliage, I was right. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! Amazon should not support this product!!! The minute you put it in a fire pit it will start to pop, break apart into chunks and slivers and fly out of your fire pit in any direction possibly hitting you in the eye. It hit me multiple times in the leg and arm as I was sitting by my table before I turned it off. I would have shown a video but it is too dangerous to look at your fire pit while the lava rocks are in there. DO NOT BUY!!!!
