This product is worthless
This product is really Bad, when start using it the paint on the product drops in the dough we use it. it is disgusting. it seems they send the rusted product. even a single star is too much for this product.

Ideal for puri’s
I’m not sure I would use it for chappaties, but it is perfect for puri’s. Will come in very handy over Diwali and special occasions as it makes the job a dodel.

It works
It does work, heavy cast iron. surface chapati's get pressed on some form of plastic, could bee streamlined with a piece of aluminium stainless steel discs instead of the above. The handle is painted, the end that sits on base could do with cap or cover around it as when you press it to flatten dough tiny fragments of paint comes of when pressed? Lucky enough very small amounts and don't effect the chapati as around edge of white disc and checked and wiped away every press to not contaminate the chapati, when I get 20 minutes I'll sand around end of base handle and oil it with olive oil this will solve that issue, but would be a good idea supplier maker come up with a solution as mentioned or even don't paint that end and user oil after each use with drop on kitchen roll, over all I was pleased with how it does work, but I found I had to press turn press and turn chapati 3 times and got what you can see in picture as you would via rolling pin but 20x faster with this device, in my opinion if you like chapati etc than this does work using my method and saves you a lot of time. Needs a tweak stainless disc instead of plastic and base of handle cap cover or not painted as mentioned then it would solve issues, would be a very good product. Don't forget if you do buy, press and turn at least 3times and wipe edge near base handle on disc edge? Definitely will use again When I do another batch I'll post picture showing above! Added picture only reason I gave it three stars. Another batch made time saver overall it works as mentioned above, good device.

Only Worked with Fresh Flour
I am not happy with this purchase. It's not easy to cary because having 3kg weight. and If flour is cold then it will not work and press properly. It will only work with fresh flour.

It is very heavy and I thought it will work well. However it does not flatten the dough enough, and you still have to use the roller for a thin roti. It will help by reducing the time, but you will still need the traditional roller setup.
