Solid choice
My wooden gate outside was sagging. I fixed it but it was still sagging so I got these and they work great. Gate opens up with easy on grass I would recommend to anyone having the same issues.

The media could not be loaded. They are very sturdy and can support the weight of my 12 ft wooden fence. Bearings move smooth and rolls easily on grass and uneven ground. Very easy installation

Sturdy and good quality
They really are heavy duty and very sturdy they seem to work well on concrete and hard surfaces but don't operate very well on gravel.

Strong springs and solid
I got this set of spring-loaded gate casters to replace the caster wheel of my mom’s backyard gate. The gate is all wood, wide, and heavy, and this gate caster wheels should do the job. It seems solid, the spring is firm, and the double ball bearing wheel is hard, swivels and spins smoothly. It came with screws, nuts, and washers to install the casters, but you need to provide your own drill, drill bits and wrench. The title of this gate casters said it could handle 250-500lbs (together?), the about this item said 250lb, and then in the picture further down the page said 220lb, its confusing, but at 220lb load capacity, it should be able hold up my mom’s gate. I wish the top of the vertical rod was capped, that entire length is a water and debris trap which is going to cause rusts (see pic), I hope the bottom will drain it out. Overall, this set of gate casters seems solid, has 2 inches of travel, it should accommodate my needs. I will be back after some time of usage to revise the review if it wears or rusts early.
