Not quite as good as the first 2 but still good and now I am going to get the next one too.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. A well written and constructed story complete with twist. Characters well thought out. Plenty of suspense and gritty with it.A good read that will keep you interested.

I have read all this author's fiction books and I am left wanting more. This book was no exception. Not only was it just as good as the preceding works, I made the mistake of starting to read it one evening. At about 3.00 am the next morning I had finished the book. I was totally unable to put it down. So why?The characters are so well-crafted and so very real. They aren't black or white, good or evil, but many shades and levels in between. My favorite character has to be Nicky, the reformed hit man. Yes, he is a killer, but no, he isn't bad. I'd call him Nemisis. Another aspect of enjoyment is the twists and turns of the plot. I love guessing, but found myself turned round and about so much that I didn't see the end coming. Magnificent!There is a wonderful familiarity with the settings and I can feel the heart of Little Italy permeating through the chapters. There is a rich vibrancy unmatched by anything else I have read in this genre. I hope one day that someone has the sense to make these books into movies, because they should be on the silver screen.. In the meantime I shall look forward to the next book and may it come soon.
