Game changer for canning and steaming too
This steamer I so much cooler to use than my water bath canner. Of course, the middle of the summer is the hottest time to can unless doing early in the morning. Even though we have air conditioning and the range hood in high, it was just too hot to can on those 100 degree days. This canner is the ideal solution. So easy to use and uses less water. The temp gauge is great to make sure the product will be safely canned.Easy to assembly. I was initially concerned about the lid in the top. I looked at a different steamer with handles on lid and bottom and riled it out because there was no temp gauge. I loveThe temp gauge. To my surprise, the lid is okay to lift the top without a pot holder. Of course I would try carefully and have a pot holder nearby. This steamer has a small hole in the back side that should be pointed away from you. I thought that would be hard to figure out and then realized in the top of the cover is the brand name and the exhaust hole is on the opposite side.I am still working to keep the red arrow attached to the gauge as it keeps falling off and it is so tiny and could easily be lost. Probably assembly error on my part. I set the little red arrow aside till I figure this out. This gauge has letters rather than temps which is okay as you just need to set the gauge and be sure to read the manual for explanation.I just canned a batch of chutney and it was so much easier. I liked that I did not have to lug the full canning pot to the sink to empty. I would have to wait till it cooled down (sometimes Overnight) to empty.Great steamer too. I had a huge Napa cabbage that I wanted to make stuffed cabbage. I cut off the bottom of the cabbage and removed the leaves and placed in the steamer and will assembly the cabbage rolls when the cabbage cools. I look forward to steaming corn on cob or dumplings or whole cauliflower or broccoli. I don’t have to break in little pieces to fit into our small stove top steamer.Game changers. If you ever water-bath canned and gave iPad or few tired Of the water bathProcesses, try this steamer. Even though I have all the extra canning tools that came with this steamCanner, It is alway worth it to have extras.

Perfect for Induction & Easy Canning!
This stainless steel steam canner is exactly what I needed! It heats up quickly and works perfectly on my induction cooktop, which can be hard to find with some canners. The temperature indicator is a great feature—it takes the guesswork out of canning and ensures everything is processed at the right temperature. It’s also lightweight compared to traditional water bath canners, making it easier to handle when full. Cleanup is simple, and the quality feels durable and well-made. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use steam canner, this is a great choice. Highly recommend!

Great Quality and responsive customer service
When calibrating this steam canner, the needle indicator went past the marked increments on the dial. I contacted the company and they said it can go well past the marked letters, and to proceed with the test. The company did say to check the steam hole with an instant read thermometer when it reached the 10 minute mark of testing and it should be between 209 and 212 degrees. I did this and it was 211 degrees. I feel this is the best indicator of safe canning temperature. This canner is so much easier than a hot water bath, used so much less water and heated up pretty quickly. I did make a dot on the indicator with a marker where the high temp was reached as the little red arrow does not stay in place. The company was very quick to respond when I contacted them. This canner is a great value for the money and I am looking forward to preserving summers bounty with it.

Great canner!
Works great! Sturdy heavy duty bottom pan. And I love that it doesn’t use as much water as a traditional canner. Heats up quickly due to the less amount of water. Cut the time and water usage way down.

Love this canner
I have been canning for decades and recently switched to this canner. I love how easy it is to use and the time saving. It heats up right away and is perfect for single batches. The only thing that was tricky was the guage on the top. If you are not careful with the lid, the arrow comes off and you have to reset the temperature mark.

Easy efficient steam canner
Uses a fraction of the water that a regular water bath canner uses and works just as efficiently. Makes for a quick turnover when canning several batches back to back. We loved our first one so much we bought a second one!

UPDATED REVIEW!! Rust spots developed 1st use, REAL Stainless Steel??
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I've changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars after receiving excellent customer service from the company. After exchanging emails, I was told that some water sources (in my case, well water) contain particles that attach themselves to the pan and appear rusted. A simple solution is a good cleaning with a product called Bar Keepers Friend. Do not use steel wool though, just a regular sponge with a srubby side. The steam canner performed very well in my 1st run of jelly. I'd highly recommend the canner and the company. You can also use the pot to cook food in it as it's rated for such. Bonus! This canner is easier to use than a water bath canner and makes sterilizing jars simple and safe. It's a keeper! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ORIGINAL REVIEW: Rust spots developed on the interior of the bottom pot during the initial calibration. Stainless steel should not rust. The pot did not boil dry at all. See photos. My elevation is not to high above sea level and the gauge needle went off the chart, which I suppose is the maximum. This was confusing. I contacted the company's support on their website, we will see how they respond. I really wanted to love this product but the rust issues are worrisome.
