We bought this at Christmas for travelling around to the relatives. We don't have roof bars as its a company car so we thought we'd try this.It is a bit fiddly to fit but we'll get better with time. We did a 5 hour journey on the motorway and were concerned about it staying on (we couldn't use the front and rear straps) so we bought 2 ratchet straps in addition for peace of mind.The 2 teenagers had loads more space in the back than usual. It rained heavily on route but everything stayed dry. The fabric feels sturdy too. Bonus, a roof box would have made the cost of the ferry higher, but this was low enough to not need to change our ticket. And we'll be able to use this with any car.Looking forward to trying this on a camping trip, it will greatly increase the amount of equipment we can bring. Definately recommend.

I was a bit concerned because of the price but the material is very good quality, and the bag provides lots of extra space.Our car has no roof bars but the kit comes with 6 adaptors for this (although the bag has 10 straps). I followed the instructions and it took me a while to put everything in place. At the end it was all good. We had a long trip to northern Ireland, including rain and strong wind, and everything inside the bag was super dry.Things to mention; the bag has 2 straps on the front and 2 on the back (apart from the lateral ones). The only way I found to attach those was using the lateral adapter so the bag looks like in the picture, with the orange front skirt facing up after the trip. In any case nothing much to worry about.

Going to write a pretty long review as was very dubious about buying this roof bag and hope it helps someone else. When buying this roof bag, consider how many times you will be using it a year as using once/twice a year is fine but I personally don't think I would be happy using this lots. If you are practical then this roof bag should present no problems fitting and securing, if you're not then go to Halfords, buy and get them to fit roof bars and top box to your car. When packing, place your bedding, towels etc on the bottom covering the whole of the roof bag to protect your roof. Easy to secure with only having to use the 6 straps provided and stayed in place upto speeds of 90 mph (on the Autobahns) so no worries there at all. Didn't have to retighten straps as made sure it was fully loaded but may shift if not packed properly. When it comes to waterproof, we drove through two yellow warnings for rain and it was constant both there and back and absolutely no leaks at all, clothes, food, bedding and towels all dry. We were going to hire roof bars and top box but down to cost this beats it hands down. To sum up, cheaper than hiring a top box, no worries about storing a bulky top box in the garage as folds down very small and can be stored in a cupboard, definitely waterproof, good value for money. Would recommend

Haven’t used it yet ,but ideal what we need it for comes in a lovely carrying bag easy to use and pack of your on your own plenty of room in side, and waterproof, perfect for the uk weather

Good roof storage. Waterproof, spacious etc. The layout of the review feature on this app seems to want me to write it a sonnet or paint its portrait.. but I'm reviewing a big bag that sits on my car. Seems overkill.The bag is good. Buy the bag. Or don't. Those are your options
