Orange SealCycling VersaValve Bicycle Valve Stem Kit

As received I could barely get air in or out with the valve cores installed. I drilled them out to #25 (0.149”) and now they work a lot better

I've tried numerous tubeless valves, and the Orange Seal Versavalves are by far the best I've used. It seems crazy to say that something as simple as a valve can be so much better than the competition, but...it's true!I've tried the Milkit system, which is really quite good in theory, and they deserve kudos for the design, which includes a little flap at the bottom of the valve to keep sealant from clogging up your valve core. HOWEVER, the valve itself is poorly designed. Simply by turning the valve nut tightly with my hand, I actually managed to pull the valve through the hole on the inside of the rim. When I then pushed the stem back out again, the rubber grommet fell off inside the wheel (between the walls)! This is impossible with the VersaValves, which have a wide metal flange at the base that would keep them from ever getting through the valve hole. Moreover, their rubber gaskets are thick and made of heavy-duty rubber. Plus, they include two different shapes to suit your rim design.Stan's valves seem to be popular, but I found them to be heavy, not machined all that nicely, and most importantly the valve has a narrow bore. This matters for two reasons: (1) it makes it harder to get a blast of air into the tire using a hand pump, and (2) it is more difficult to put sealant into the tire. You really need to go very slowly or the sealant will back up and overflow back out the valve. The VersaValves have a nice wide bore that makes adding sealant or inflating easy.I'll stop the comparisons, but I like these even better than the ones that came with my $2,500 Enve wheels!Other bonuses:-- Comes with two extra valve cores-- Comes with two extra rubber rings for use under the washers-- Comes with a variety of valve nuts in different colors. The product photo is old. This new package comes with a lot more accessories. I am so excited to see all this includes colorful accessories that I have to notify you guys before I even have a chance to install the tires. The include valve core removal tool is a genius on it's own! No other product does it. It screws onto the stem and won't get lost. One user said he doesn't know how to use it. I include a photo of it. I wish they come with 2 valve core remover so that both stem look the same. I am sure it will work very well after the tire is installed. Will find out soon.

What make it stand out from the other valve stem is the inclusion of rectangular rubber piece.I find this works way better than all the conical rubber. It seals nicely even with the lock nut not so tight. It also don't mind sharp rim edge around the valve core hole which can damage the conical rubber over time.The rest of the kit and accessories ( a lot of accessories in the kit) are nice too.

Didn't have tubeless rims but wanted to give it a try. Worked perfect with my WTB tires and some Orange Seal / Gorilla Tape. The conical rubber pieces work great if you have schrader valve rims. For H+Son TB14 non-tubless rims for anyone who might be giving a try like I did...I recommend taking out the logo plate where the valve comes through. It seals up better without it.

I’ve used a lot of tubeless stems. These look similar to the slim Enve stems but with extra colored nuts to bedazzled your wheels a little. They are very slim, and it’s possible this is why the 80mm stems I got clogged within a day or so and the air can barely be let in or out. I’ve never had that happen before with a tubeless tire, and I have almost a dozen wheelsets. The shorter stems may work ok, but I could t recommend the longer 80mm. I’m going to have to take these out as it’s almost impossible to easily maintain my air pressure in the tires.Using Stans non race formula sealant.

Awesome tubeless kit, absolutely love all the extras and options. This comes with two different style valve hole plugs on the rim bed side and about 5 different color securing rings to match your bike (purple, blue, red, black, etc.). Bonus points for including a valve core removal tool and thinking of the finer touches like an o-ring to protect the rim from the securing ring. I bought the 80mm for my 50mm rims just in case I get deeper wheels in the future, but definitely could have gone with the 60mm option for a cleaner look.

This is a great tubeless valve set. The hardware is well made. It is very nice that there are 2 sets of grommets provided, which allow you to pick the best fit for your wheels. My set also included an extra gasket and multiple threaded anodized valve core retaining nuts in different colors. These worked great for my new tubeless setup. The only downside here is the high cost compared to other options.

Ordered a pair of these valves to colour match a set of black rims and they worked flawlessly. Comes with a valve core remover that screws on and looks nice and neat.
