Fun game, thematic
Great game. Very thematic. It is as horror filled as you make it. It’s so fun. There is some hand building/management. There’s some randomness with the dice rolling, but it can be mitigated.I’ve yet to beat it! I have another expansion. I’ve yet to try it.

Great solo; great duo!
Played with a partner and we had a ton of fun getting murdered! This game is excellent! I enjoy playing solo, but the game can be enhanced even more by inviting a friend to help make decisions.

You Can Play it Again, and Again, and Again......
I love solo games and I've spent a LOT of money on them. Final Girl is the best I've experienced so far. This is the starter set, it has the base set and one "Feature Film". The game can be played multiple times, and be different every time you play it. There are cards and tokens that you won't use in one playthrough but will come into play in another . You also have the choice of making it even more challenging. Now let's talk about all the other feature films that are available. Every Feature Film contains 2 parts, the Location and the Villian/Monster. (The price is very reasonable for each Feature Film, being right around 20 bucks.) Here's the great part. The are completely interchangable. Any villian can be combined with any location and any Final Girl. It's endless play....For a great price.

I love the game however,it can be confusing to set up as well as the instructions being super long.

Absolutely my favorite!
This is by far my favorite solo game ever! I heard about this game years ago on an episode of “the dice tower” and thought, this game is for me! And boy was I right. This particular scenario, camp happy trails, is the “simpler” of them all, but never ending fun. I’ve played just this set dozens of times now, and even played with a friend and gotten them into it too!

It all starts here. Are you ready?
The starting place to, in my opinion, the best solo game out there. Action, fun, nerve recking, and all games able to mix and match, making this one of the most replay-able games I’ve ever experienced! This buy is just the beginning of an adventure I’m jealous you have the experience of just beginning. Walk through the door and I promise you won’t regret it!

happy core
That core pack thing you need is in here along with Camp Happy Trails. The latter is a solid starting point for the series. It's notechanically THAT complex. The included killer doesn't shoot lightning out of shadows without being anywhere nearby. There's still some challenge but it isn't insane.

Highly luck driven
The core set of Final Girl comes with a core box which contain the dice and action cards and the horror board required to play all of the episodes of Final Girl. The episode included in this set is Camp Happy Trails where you are pitted against one of my favorite villains in the series, Hans the Butcher. He has killed your friends, other counselors at a summer camp surrounding a large lake. Sound familiar? Yes, this episode is based on Friday the 13th movies with Jason being the killer. Hans has a large amount of health and takes a while to wittle it down. I like it when I have to move Hans through the lake because it reminds me of the movies where Jason walks out of the lake. This set is one of my favorite episodes and very simple to set up and learn to play. The series allows you to mix up different final girls and killers and maps. I like using Hans on the Dr Fright map which is set in the suburbs. It gives it a feel of Halloween and being stalked by Michael Myers. The components are fine, they are wooden health trackers and colored meeples. There is an expansion that contain each miniature but the meeples work well for me. The storage is neat and tidy. The boards are all magnetic and clip to a small box containing the parts trays. The size of the box is about the size of the old VHS tapes giving this series an even better feel of nostalgia for those 80's slasher flicks.
