You may have come across a plastic version of this same fidget, you can get them at target, as a party favor for one of your kids, maybe saw one at the office? If you are like me then you tried it and quickly became disillusioned with it. Well this metal version is not that! Turns out that the added weight and actual steel articulations made a night and day difference! This fidget went from "trash" to "top 5". I have quite possibly every fidget in existence and I never gave this infinite cube a second thought until I got an alert for a pretty seizable discount and bought it. Anyway a little about how it feels. A good fidget is usually one that can offer a satisfying click/sound/kinetic movement or cycling movement. This fidget has a very satisfying cycling movement, it's loud! But it's very satisfying and it's easy to play with because gravity does half the job for you, essentially you only have to tilt it right for the cube to swing to it's next configuration. Anyway! I think it's well worth it, specially if you get it on sale!

Compared to the plastic-this is really heavy!! I have had others and they are a great fidget toys, but this also exercises my fingers and coordination. It is sturdy AND they included spare parts and a tool to do it. I’m very impressed.I bought the blue and it is beautiful. Feels comfortable in my hand.This is perfect for teens and adults.Because it’s so heavy, I would not give this to young children - if they throw it they’re going to dent the wall or someone’s head. But it is great for an adult that wants something to strengthen their hand-(A surprising bonus)I will be traveling soon and wanted to take this with me. The media could not be loaded. I've had this fidget cube for less than a week, and I've barely put it down! As an ASD stimming toy, it checks all the boxes. I'm a machine and device freak - so I love the weight, the motion, the feel of it moving in my hands, and the sound of the cubes clacking and hinges working. On that note - consider this one is probably not suited for a quiet environment where it may get on other's nerves. True to the other reviews here, the anodized aluminum finish will start to show wear almost immediately, but that's true of most light anodized aluminum, and it's a testament to the hours of satisfaction that you get! I looked at several models, and this is the only one I found with cap screws holding the hinges instead of rivets, i.e., it's repairable! Rivets WILL fail eventually, as even this cube has loosened up from flexing at the hinges, but they can be tightened. I don't see the cap screws ever failing outright, unless one works loose and gets lost - but they give you a couple spares and a hex key to repair it for that eventuality. It hasn't been a problem for me, but I imagine a drop of blue thread sealant would cure any recurring problems without affecting the integrity or motion of the cube. If you've previously enjoyed another cube made from plastic or with riveted hinges and need another to replace one that has broken, this is the one to replace them all! Hint: If you buy two or more, you can disassemble them, mix colors, and reassemble them for a custom look!

this is a nice product, my only (very small) complaints are with its size and the edges:I don't have my old toy (from a different manufacturer) in front of me to compare side-by-side -it's at the office and I won't be back there for a couple weeks- but the old one I believe was slightly larger in its dimensions which I would have liked for this one to be a touch larger as well.the edges are just a little too rounded, making them slightly harder to grip when moving the toy around quickly; and as a result when I'm mindlessly playing with the toy sometimes my finger slips over an edge when I'm trying to instead flip the cube about its hinges.overall though I quite like it. The paint wears quickly which is normal for these types of items especially with constant use, but I like the worn look it gives to it. It shows that the toy is more than just an ornament for your desk. The initial wearing of the paint honestly looks a little strange but after not long it looks good.I certainly appreciate the replaceable screws used for the hinges. I couldn't quite tell from the listing how deep into the internal post/hinge the screws go, but after getting it and removing one to check I can see a little more than half of the screw gets threaded into the hinge when fully inserted which is good.My old cube used the rivets, those started coming apart in a way that the edges of the rivets would sometimes catch on each other which interrupts the smooth flow of flipping the cube around. That won't be an issue with this one.The screws are all tight so I don't suspect them coming out will be an issue but 1) they do include a hex key & spare screws .... and 2) you'll most likely see the screw coming loose and it will have plenty of length to come out before falling out and potentially getting lost, I don't think the extra screws will ever become necessaryfor anyone wondering the screws take a 2.5mm hex key

Just received this and am very happy with it. Good weight easy to use and will very helpful with ADHD during meetings. This is really fun to play with. I had to get something that would be quiet but keep the mind occupied from wandering. This toy is perfect.
