Perfect Size and Cooks Great
I love this panini press! It’s big enough to make 4 toasts at once, which is super handy. Heats up fast and makes sandwiches nice and crispy. Easy to use and easy to clean. Great for quick meals or snacks—definitely glad I got it!

Get the digital one, it's worth the extra $$
I have zero regrets buying this! Spend the extra dollars and get the digital one to control temp and you won't have any of the issues with the lower ratings.Having the ability to flip the grill plates, and also open it up flat makes this a more multipurpose tool in my kitchen which ultimately saves me space. I've used it as a flat griddle as much as I've used it as a grill press. Easy to clean, easy to use, and lots of possibilities.Sandwich press, heating up pre-made breakfast burritos to get a nice crisp on the Tortilla, I made delicious sourdough English muffins, then subsequent sandwiches. This thing is getting a lot of use in my kitchen! And nothing has burned since I can control the temp. It heats evenly and quickly.

Great for Quick Meals, But Needs Heat Adjustment
The Chefman Panini Press Grill has been a fun addition to my kitchen. It’s easy to use and makes sandwiches that are perfectly crispy on the outside and warm on the inside, as long as you keep an eye on them. I also love how it opens 180 degrees to double as a grill for things like veggies or smaller cuts of meat. It's compact, doesn’t take up much counter space, and is super easy to clean – the removable drip tray is a lifesaver. However, the lack of a heat adjustment is a drawback. The temperature runs quite high, so you need to monitor your food closely to avoid burning. A simple "low/high" heat setting would’ve made this product perfect. Also, the size is a bit smaller than expected – it works well for one or two people but isn’t ideal for larger servings.

Appears to be a great product
I just tested my new panini maker to see how well it works. I set the temperature to 400 and preheat was completed in 5 minutes. I tested the timer and that was spot on. I made a very standard grilled cheese. It was cooked perfectly when timer went off. Grill makes were quite consistent. My only concern is the temperature and timing know is a little loose. Hopefully, that will continue to be operational for quite sometime. Very attractive and a substantial size.

Easy to use and clean
We use this press mainly as a toaster and it does a good job. You can toast a greater variety of breads, such as bagels, than you can in a regular toaster with slots. Moreover the toast comes out with some nice grill marks, which is kind of classy. It's also good for sandwiches such as grilled cheese, and of course you can grill things as well. After dinner all it needs is a quick cleanup since it't truly nonstick.

BEST ever!
Tried many toasted sandwich makers and this is the best. Makes the perfect toasted cheese and tomato! It’s crispy toasted on the outside, ooey gooey on the inside. The toasted sandwich filling options are endless!. Just a tip, make sure tomato is always on the bottom cheese on top when you toast. The toaster cooks the tomato juice and cheese melts into tomato. Same principle when cooking any moisture laden filling. I heated to 400 then last minute of cooking turned to 425. Easy clean! I love💙 pics of my first use.

Not great
Uneven cooking depending on placement of food. The nonstick surface isnt smooth for some reason. Too hot, burns the outside of things before the inside is done. And possibly is heating the nonstick coating higher than it should be, which would be extremely toxic. I will test this with a surface thermometer next time i use it. If i ever use it again..If you put thin things in it like thin sandwiches or thinly sliced vegetables it cooks fine. There is no temp control so you have to be a slave to it.
