2(X)ISTMen's Essential Cotton Contour Pouch Brief 3-Pack

I wrote a 5 star review of this product approximately 4 years ago. At that time, I had purchased this brand and style of brief for almost 15 years. I usually order several 3-packs so that I am not ordering underwear all of the time. After reading some of the recent negative reviews from those that had ordered these for years, I decided to purchase only one 3 pack to see what had changed. They were right! These underwear are produced from a scratchy, cheap and less than color-fast material. The pouch has also diminished in capacity. One of the main reasons I purchased these for so long was the room they afforded while remaining supportive and comfortable in feel. This no longer is the case. It is so disappointing when manufacturers allow greed to destroy what was a great product. Cheap material + less room (material) = loss of this consumer. Sad.

Third time was NOT a charm. Looks like seller removed my critical review. Rather than respond to my review they ignored it and let my previous review - this one - stay up. So I'm re-editing this one. We'll see how long this one stays up. This was my third purchase of a 3-pack of 2(X)IST briefs from this seller and this time the manufacturer's box had been opened and one of the pairs looks like it might have been tried on previously. Pretty gross. NOTE, the product is great, the seller is apparently NOT.Old Review:My second time buying this product. Good fit, fair price.But in my first purchase, the briefs were tag-less (sizes/etc printed on inside of waistband). Oddly, this second order had tags in the back of the waistband. Which makes me think they were older versions of the briefs. Fit/sizing and style is just the same, but perhaps from an earlier inventory?

I recently bought a pack of Essential (RN 97404) & compared to my older pairs of your briefs the elastic band is showing signs of wear after a few washes. White threads are popping out. These are cheap & shoddy compared to your older versions. Elastic bunches up. I will not buy your products again. I complained to the company who only offered me a 15% discount on my NEXT order. I told them I am never buying their crappy products again! In second picture: on left are 10 year old underwear — on right is the new pair after two washes.

I ordered 2xist brief a year ago from touch of modern but its too small for me, its so good and looks so durable, but now i ordered the same product here on amazon but its way far different, the one below is from amazon the difference is, the product tag on the back of the garter and the logo name around the garter.. i dont know i can tell this is fake or its just immitating the product.. and it looks like aint going to last long..

These are how all men's briefs should fit. The pouch is great and the elastic in the leg holes just mold around your body. These are between a mid rise and a low rise brief - I'm 28 and these look very modern and in style.I used to wear trunks and boxer briefs but my wife likes the way I look in briefs. I find these to fit great under a slim fit suit as well. When making the switch I found that more and more manufacturers are making a much skimpier type of underwear as the years pass. My go to is the Calvin Klein hip brief but this year they made them more of a bikini cut.These are how all men's briefs should fit. The pouch is great and the elastic in the leg holes just mold around your body. These are between a mid rise and a low rise brief - I'm 28 and these look very modern and in style. I'm a man and I want to look like I'm wearing men's underwear not my wifes panties.My only recommendation to 2xist - make these 90% cotton and 10% elastane. You would triple your sales.

Over the years 2xist brand briefs have gone down in quality. The material is now very thin and doesn't last long. Also, the description says the contour pouch briefs are tagless, but these do have a large tag attached inside at the back. I don't know whether 2xist cheapens the version for "essential" 3-packs compared to singles, or if these are fake knock-offs. I thought all 2xist brand underwear went tagless a few years ago.

These contour pouch briefs are really comfortable. The pouch makes for a nice upgrade from classic briefs. They fit well and are comfortable for daily wear.

These are good and my favourite underwear but they are not as well made or as good quality as they used to be which is annoying. The elastic frays quicker and the cotton is thinner.

Excellent product , good fit and comfortable.
