I really like these and they worked out exactly how I envisioned for my garden. I bought a second set.

Got my rubber mulch mat today and as soon as I took it out of the box, the backing fell off of it and it started "shedding" or falling apart. I needed to cut it length wise to fit in my green house, so got my skill saw out and cut it which it did Ok with. But, as soon as I was rolling it up to move to my green house, it tore very easily, about a 5 inch tear in it. Nothing I could do about it, but the tear at the far end of the green house where there is the least amount of traffic. None-the-less, it appears to be pretty close to "junk" as when you drag your feet across it, it "sheds" pieces of rubber off of it. Don't know how long it will last, but I'm certainly not impressed at this point!!

We used this in an area adjacent to our lawn that has invasive bamboo. It has completely blocked it and blends in with the mulch.

Purchased to use as an outdoor walkway mat. Liked the idea of mulch on fabric backing. Product is very heavy and comes as 2 rolls but once you roll it out, there is barely one inch of mulch on the backing. Color is very black and very shiny which the shine was the major drawback for it does not look like mulch you would put down. Chunks of mulch were missing from the sides and found in the box. I am returning and decided to go with brown rubber mulch and landscape fabric which looks like traditional mulch and is not shiny and is similar in cost but you get more mulch for the value. Was very disappointed in the quality for the value and did not feel this would hold up to outdoor and foot traffic. I would not recommend using outdoor and in high traffic areas.

great product to cover drainage pipes, so they can be accessed without having to dig up mulch.yes the mats outgas for a few days, but they are rubber, it is expected. They look great.
