Sun JoeSPX3501 Brushless Induction Electric Pressure Washer W/Brass Hose Connector & Hose Reel

This Sun Joe pressure washer is great. I've had four others over the last twenty years. All the others were the portable no wheels type which are alright but just a little under powered for trying to do gutters. One Karcher, two AR, and one Worx. But electric power keeps increasing so this time I went for the Sun Joe with a brush-less motor. It's working great. I really like the instant start on water pressure when the trigger is pulled. The others always had a hesitation or a wait for the last cycle to run down. It is a heavy beast but the wheels make it maneuverable. I got this through the Amazon Warehouse. The previous buyer/returner had put the reel together incorrectly but I just reassembled it and pulled the slightly deformed plastic parts with bungee cord over night. Now its like spanking new! Great machine.

Buyer beware! I’ve had my pressure washer just over a year. I use it fairly infrequently, so it hasn’t had much wear and tear. The pressure is not super impressive but I chose to overlook that for my minimal use. The last couple of uses it has acted strangely, like it can’t get enough pressure even though supply pressure is adequate, and today I see why. It is leaking profusely from the internals. Now the leak is so extreme the whole pressure washer is trash. It was properly winterized this past winter and it’s the middle of September in Texas (still 90degrees) so it’s not a freezing issue. Just expensive junk, that now I’ll have to replace.

The media could not be loaded. This washer has some chincy plastic bits (1st one arrived had to be returned due to plastic pieces broken off) but only a few. The bulk of the machine housing is plastic, but the hose is rubber, end bits and nozzle wand is metal (plastic handle however) with proper metal connections.It's a bit heavy but wheels around fine and no need to move it once set up. Power cord gives you a solid 20 feet, and wand gives you 15 or so, effectively giving you pretty good reach. I still had to set up a station to bring things I wanted to wash (but I have an acre and would have power washed everything if I could reach) due to being cord bound to this distance. Still, pretty good reach.The videos and pictures on my review are me washing wooden items that have lived in chicken coop for 3-10 years! Some pieces are just old, dusty, dirty, but some are chicken-poo encrusted. I'm using wand one handed, so limited on getting closer to surface and showing true power while filming. The washer had no problem with the hard crusted stuff once I had two hands. However, a 2 minute wet soak seems to go a long way to helping remove grime and a second pass close up will absolutely lift surface wood fibers or remove some older paint.Overall I'm using the washer like a mad thing and quite happy with it. It does vibrate in hand after a bit and cause tingling if you're pre 1971, like me.

I had a Husaqvarna power washer I bought in Costco and used it twice. Went to take it out for some spring cleaning and it would not start. Took it back to Costco for a refund and purchased the Sun Joe SPX 3501,on a friends reccomenedation and I am completely satisfied!Easty to use and maneuver, powerful enough for around the house cleaning and then some. More powerful than the Husaqvarna!The extra hose is a must have if you do not want to keep moving the unit around.The built in hose reel keeps everything tight and organized.So far so good!!!

I've used this water pressure washer for several months and have experienced no issues. I follow a specific routine -- connect water and turn on the faucet, plug in, squeeze the handle to turn on the water flow, and lastly turn on the unit. This way the water is running through the unit before the pumps start and I have avoided the problems several other reviews mentioned.Plus -- has sufficient power, usually using the 15 degree plug, to clean any surfaces I've tried. I have the Universal Turbo Head Spray Nozzle and this works quite well, but doesn't clean as well as the 15 nozzle (but it's faster). I purchased the Extension Hose and highly recommend buying this to increase the range of use. Also got the SPX-5N1 5-in-1 Universal Pressure Washer Hose Nozzle and recommend this for the speed of usage when you contemplate needing to change pressure nozzle settings.Neutral -- I got the 10-Inch Patio Cleaning Attachment and it works for cleaning a driveway but isn't powerful enough to clean a wood deck surface.Minus -- the Hose Roller on the top of the unit is pretty flimsy and the plastic handle broke on me when I rolled up the hose.Recommend buying this unit.

Using our new, Sun Joe SPX3501 Brushless Induction Electric Pressure Washer W/Brass Hose Connector & Hose Reel, has performed beyond what we hoped for. Now washing our car, cleaning our home exterior or trimming our stone ialkways and driveway of pesky weeds is now a snap. It is easy to assemble out of the box and use. I highly recommend this pressure washer.

I erased all the Pros & Cons because the whole package is worthless without a hose!!!Apparently, this hose works with their weaker units, but it's just not up to the task. I now have 2 leaks after just 6 uses. I now have 2 leaks about 6 uses, and Sun Joe's support has been out of stock on replacements. Worse, they can't tell me what the adapter size is (or sell me one of their own) so I can connect their 7,000 PSI extension hose directly to the unit.Other than that, it's a good unit, but it's like owning a nice car you can't change the tires on, and the manufacturer's tires fail after 5000 miles!

I owned an older model which was 3 years old and unfortunately the motor fried on it. Not bad for the frequency of use over 3 years. I was going to get a similar model and this one came up at the same price, so time for an upgrade. Came well packaged, easy to assemble and works like a charm. Obviously with the wand hose near the top handle it is recommended that you unroll the hose. before use in order to avoid pulling the entire machine to the ground. Like most electric units it's all plastic on the outside, so if you don't take care of it it will break.

Easy to assemble and seems well made. My unit leaked between wand and water gun after initial use. I call to manufacturer and in 5 minutes parts were ordered under warranty. Manufacturer provided good customer service (lets see how long it takes to arrive, as is typical, the call went to the USA and they have to ship to the distant & strange land of Canada). The unit is heavy and although it has wheels, it is difficult to move around. The power cord tangles and has a large plastic ground fault plug at the end so you have to be careful it does smash on the ground. I would have preferred the gfi plug would be made of rubber. The hose is on a reel and it also difficult to use. Not the best industrial design. The washer does is powerful and works well. It is a little noisy. Comes with various spray heads that attach to the unit for storage.

When I was putting this together, the hose was too short. I called customer service and their response was awesome. Simply put it in the box, apply the return sticker they forwarded to me, take it to a UPS office and they would pay to ship it back and send a new one immediately. Within a few days the new one arrived and everything was fine. Excellent service and the washer works great.
