AEJESOP Edible Baked Red Clay, 7oz (200g)

My pica dream come true. The taste is exactly what I like. Taste and smells like wet dirt in a basement. Yes it’s a hard crunch. Just soak it in some water for a bit and it’s great. It is a little pricey, however shipping is fast. I always order from yummy clays (I can’t recommend them enough), but the site is not taking orders at the moment and shipping is not next day like this was. So I’ll pay a little extra to get my pica fix fast.

Looks same as picture, but all the broken pieces are not same, some of these are soft which was good at taste, but some pieces were very hard and dont taste like mud, they taste nothing actually and quantity was very little amount, so dissatisfactory , waste of money

OMG!! This is the best one yet! I've purchased most of the Aejesop line and I wanted something more earthy and less of a creaminess after it's chewed to snack on. I saw the edible baked red clay and yes the wait for the delivery was alittle but but it was WORTH IT!! This is hard but not too hard, crunchy, gritty like sand, earthy taste that makes your mouth water...it hit just right! I've been looking for so long for a product like this and Im super happy I found it. I will be ordering this one again!! The only complaint is the bag is less than half full.

This comes as a mix of two different kinds of broken pottery. One type is extremely hard and inedible. The other is an extremely satisfying crunchy, tasty, non-gummy snack. It benefits from soaking in water. It's firm enough for that satisfying crunchy and grinds up well. It has a rainy day dirt road kind of taste. I wish the company would differentiate between the two textures and offer them separately. They are not packaged with any kind of discernable label about the percentage of each, it tends to be different for each package. Please sell these as 100% medium and hard for the customers who want a different choice and this becomes a 5-star rating.

I never been so insulted before in my life LOL. This was so hard that I almost chipped my doggone tooth. You have to learn how to eat this thing from an angle or you will mess yourself up! My son looked in the bag and he said Mama this aint nothing but a flower pot. they sold you a flower pot!!!" What's funny is after he said it and I studied it, it looked just like a flower pot LOL. So it's like they take their broken flower pots, collect the pieces, and throw them in decorated bags and sell them to naive unsuspecting people (such as myself) and make a profit. The audacity! Oh yeah let's not forget the "earthy taste" It's supposed to have. This mess do not taste like it came from the earth. It tastes like it came from a lab. I don't even know what name to give it or what to compare it to. It just tastes like some weird... MESS!!! So I'm agreeing with the majority when I say this product is not good. It's terrible!!! Don't be a sucker! SAVE YOUR MONEY HONEY!!!! $12 is not worth $1000 in dental bills!!

It is a crunchier clay and is roasted. It’s not super soft but it was exactly what I was looking for. Not gummy at all and even had an almost spicy kick to it (nothing strong, just undertones). This was perfect for my Pica and I would definitely buy again. The first time I got it, it took a little while to get to me but after that it usually ships within a couple days and always gets here on time. I get it every two weeks and love it!

Some of the reviews make me giggle. Because what did you expect it is literal dirt. And I don’t know how you have a dirt preference lol. It tastes like dirt there’s no other way to put it. It’s common sense you need to soak clay to soften it or grind it up into a powder. You need to prep it. It satisfied my dirt craving since I’m suffering from PICA during my pregnancy. I didn’t need a large amount to satisfy the craving for a while. It’s perfect for women struggling with pica during pregnancy and want to kill the craving with a little bite here and there.

This was really terrible why bake it like cupcakes. Makes one wonder what was mixed
