Amazing design.
Worked perfectly to inspire my partner who is writing short horror stories. Really clever how all the cards link up

Not as much ‘scope’ as first thought...
I found this game just a little disappointing... Firstly; it resembles very much another game I own called ‘Story Dice’. (see my review for that title) However; instead of dice with symbols on them, here it is HUGE cards using great artwork with what could have meant potentially much more detail to enhance in your story-making, but as it is, we felt the cards lacking a little. For instance; on one card there is just a picture of a mere hut like building with a door – not much you can make from that. (however imaginative you may be) I think these cars, especially since they are so big, had immense room for far more going on to help and contribute to the story-telling and for variety, as it is, despite the mind boggling listing combinations advertised in and on the box, you are somewhat limited to the same kind of story-lines on some cards – whenever and however they turn up in a game... With regards to quality, this is exceptional; nice thick board rather than your average card stock, and what artwork there is, is both good and inspiring - even if somewhat limited. Also; one of the cards does not match up correctly to any of the others which a previous Reviewer has already pointed out. I too have also mailed the company and am waiting for a reply. I was also rather ‘miffed’ that despite the claim in the box that there is a video of game play to see at the company’s Site – this NOT the case... Hence the lower and average star rating I may have given this game... I find many people are not actually using these as a card game, but as some kind of ‘Oracle’ deck– I can see why!

Beautiful but misconceived.
I am really torn by these things. I am a big fan of myrioramas and these are beautifully drawn and presented. But they just don't fit the bill. A myriorama needs to be seen as an endlessly varied landscape, but each scene needs to be viewed all at once, from one end to the other. A story, on the other hand, needs a narrative structure which presents episode after episode sequentially. You just can't place these all side by side to be looked at simultaneously. That being so, the continuation of the scenery from one card to the next (the essence of a myriorama) is redundant. You end up with a final picture which is an unsatisfying, confused and overcrowded panorama and a scrambled story in which everything is observed to be happening all at once.

Good idea but.......
Good quality card stock and a good idea, but let down by the right hand edge of one of my cards failing to match up properly with any of the other 19 cards, particularly on the details at the bottom - see images. I did query this with the publisher to get their feedback but to date there has been no response.

Used this as intended to tell journey stories. I paired it with The Endless Oracle and it came alive and immersive
