Work like it should

It has a hard time sending water through a carbon filter. The pump itself is sucking air and it's not the hose connections. It will pump the water through the filter buts it's very slow and full of air.

This is my second pump and used to pump out generator oil. Works great, but remove the black plastic plugs before using. They are the exact color of the pump and the intake plug is inserted and recessed. The outlet hose will screw on, but you won't be able to pump. The black and red wires are somewhat short and very small gauge wire, Plus the wires solder onto tabs on the motor and have not stress relief. I had to resolder my first one after some pretty heavy use. The pump is powerful and can pumps two quarts of oil in about minutes. A time saver and I love to use it. Can't figure out how to make it work for my car. I put it n the dipstick tube and remove fill cap, but can't get any suction. Not sure how to resolve.

To pump fluid into my tractor tires to increase the pushing and pulling power extra weight

I was surprised at just how small it was, I really thought it would be bigger. Not a complaint by any means, I am quite happy that it is as small as it is. DO test it with a battery first as mine had water or some liquid in it, possibly for seal preservation? Either way once I cleared out all the liquid from shipping I then put it to work with atf +4 and filled up my transfer case. So much nicer than having to use an old hand pump to do so. The price was right, function is great, Happy camper I am.

I got this to do a Porsche Boxster differential service without having to take the cover off and luckily was able to suck out all the fluid then fill it fresh. This also came in handy doing the transfer case fluid on my 2011 BMW X3.The two wires with the alligator clips are very poor quality and extremely soft, and the shielding on the alligator clips is loose as well. The soldering for one wire was so bad that I could shut the pump on and off just by bending the wire which was kinda nice but now how it's supposed to work. Needless to say, I ended up taking the cover off, rewiring everything and putting good butt connectors on the wiring to plug directly into the motor and the pump works fine, slow, but fine.The pump is good for touch to reach lower volume fluid changes but if you're doing more that 2 quarts you'll be there all day it feels!

Use it alot..good pumping if oil is warm

I used this to pull oil from my truck. The oil was warm when I pulled it out, but the pump did it easily. It did come with some tubing, but you may want to go to home depot to get your own that is long enough and would fit down whatever tube that you are wanting to pull fluids from.All in all I am very pleased and would buy this again.

It easily removed engine oil and the copper line that it came with allowed to get everything out of the pan

The product did work but the flow rate advertised was incorrect. It took over 2 hours to drain 5 gallons of oil from my boat engine. Good job I wasn't in a hurry.
