Used one snow fall so far, and this thing works !
I do commercial snow removal for a industrial building. There’s areas with equipment and piping we can’t get snow blowers in and we’re tired of shoveling wet heavy snow.We got 3” of snow last weekend and I’ve been itching to try this out. To my surprise it worked really well. Even the wet snow it did great. We have all kinds of snow blowers and they just plug up in the wet stuff. For what it is it’s great, I wouldn’t use it for a driveway or anything a plow or snowblower can do. But small sidewalks , steeps , and tight areas it works. But this was only the first round , hopefully continues to impress. I’ll do another review after a couple good storms.

Does the Job
UPDATE: I have owned this thrower for 4 years now. As far as small units go, I feel it's the best available. I have gone over dog leashes, pine cones and chunks of ice. The blades may be plastic but they are sturdy. I was very skeptical of buying a battery powered snow thrower. I worked part time in a major hardware store and a customer told me it works great. I dislike shoveling so, for the price I thought I'd try it. I am amazed at how well it works. My driveway is about 40'x30' and it does that plus my sidewalk and a couple of my neighbor's driveways on one charge. The only down side is it's not directional. It's basically a straight out thrower.

Works well…but…
I really like this snow thrower and would give it five stars it it had a way of pointing where you want the snow to go. Due to it being a bit heavy to hold, it’s difficult to get the snow to land where you want it. It mostly goes in front of you…which means you better have an ending point to have it land. Shoveling a sidewalk that goes into a neighbors sidewalk makes it difficult as you are either putting snow into their space or trying to lift the rather heavy end and “shovel/blow” the snow side to side…very hard to do for long as the shovel end is heavy.

Powerful yet lightweight
This thing was SUPER hard to find as a gift for my husband, but after weeks of looking and a long shipping deal it finally arrived and he LOVES it! When it snows pretty good, but not enough to pull out the stage two, it works great. Throws snow really far and doesn’t have a metal auger so it works great on our deck. I can’t say enough good things about this thing.

Very handy and surprising power
I mainly use this to clean off my deck and smaller areas and have used it in three different storms. the more I use it the more I like it it’s very handy it’s got a lot more power than I thought it would.I also find this very useful in cleaning up after I’ve used my large snowblower specially if there’s a couple of inches that fall after
