As someone who has never wore extensions or any experience in this department I was extremely hesitant to purchase extensions in the first place, especially online where you can't see/touch the product you're buying. Although I have no experience, I also do tons of research on any items/products before purchasing. I went through every photo and (almost) every review for dozens of extensions; both real and synthetic hair. After a few days of comparing different brands, lengths and colors. I decided to purchase the Reecho extensions in medium brown (curly) 20" and also a pack of Remy hair extensions in light brown (straight) 20". My hair is already pretty long, with medium thickness. I ordered 18" extensions before this and had to return them because they were just the length of my hair already and I wanted to add some length without it being too noticeable I will be honest, I did not have high hopes for either of these products, but for $9 and upcoming Christmas parties where I wanted to add a little bit more volume and length to my hair, I figured there was no harm. This item arrived two days earlier than the estimated arrival date in a very tiny envelope. I was already worried that there would be creases or that the hair would not be long/thick enough for me. Upon opening the package I saw they included a dew extras such as a comb, hair net, a little spray container and a cute hair tie. I carefully unfolded the hair, and mind you I've never worked with extensions before but I couldn't even tell this was not real hair. It felt very soft, was silky and perfectly coiled curls already. Within minutes I had it clipped into my hair and couldn't believe how real and well blended it was with my real hair! I haven't wore it for a full night, that'll be saved for my upcoming party but I wore it for about 30 minutes to get use to it and see how it felt. It wasn't too heavy and it didn't pull at all. I'm so excited to wear this when I style my real hair so that the curls blend easy. I will deff be purchasing more of these extensions in the future with this brand, plus the straight style. I'll try to handle it carefully to make it last but hopefully it can survive two Christmas parties, but for the price i'll be happy if I only get two wears out of it. Super quick delivery, excellent packaging and great quality! I had my doubts, and zero experience with extensions and these extensions exceeded my expectations completely. They add great length and amazing volume to my hair. I highly recommend! **Updated review** was feeling the need to come back and just state how surprised I am with how much these extensions survived. They did get semi-tanged but i put them in warm water with fabric softener and they bounced back. Unfortunately I ruined a piece of the extension by using heat on it, and the curl wouldn't come back-thats my own fault. I already ordered another set. I initially got these for a party but now wear them almost every weekend, and no one can even tell that it isn't my real hair. I can't believe how well these work/look.

Nice set of extensions! Great quality for the process, just keep in mind you will only be able to use them 3-4 times, but then they tangle alot! I mean great for the price and if you want them for an event. Blend very nice and easy to use, just clip them on

I am mixed (afro-latina-european) and my hair really has a variety of textures but is mostly about 3b. This hair blends in well when I just blow my hair out without flat-ironing it. I ordered two packs. I ordered these for the holidays, they were expected to arrive on the 24th but did not even ship until the 26th. The tracking number was created but USPS did not have the package yet even though amazon insisted that it had been shipped. This annoyed me a lot, I chose prime 2-day shipping and ordered them for a specific event... they did not ship and therefore did not arrive on time. Amazon gave me a refund and allowed me to keep the pieces, so I'm not too upset about it now (though it was all quite inconvenient). ANYWAYS onto the actual product! For the price I think these are pretty great. They are full and thick and very nice for synthetic hair. Although.. they do tangle easily and get really static-y. I used a bit of fabric softener with water and sprayed it on and that took care of a huge amount of static cling and tangles. I still need to brush them out with a wig brush occasionally but they dont seem to get as bad as some of my other synthetic hair pieces. They are wonderfully thick and blended in with my hair so well... I've been getting tons of compliments wearing these and they are super easy to throw in and look very nice. I do think I ordered them too long, though.. so after putting 2 wefts in I cut a few inches off and gave it a little more shape and it's just the look I was going for. I do wish I could get more smaller pieces for the top and front to complete the look, but overall, for the price, this was a pretty good purchase. I'm definitely not a fan of the shipping issues though, as usually if I am ordering hair it is for something specific and my time is too valuable to be having wonky delays with conflicting shipping information.

The deep brown perfectly matched my hair (4N hair color). [EDIT: I accidentally said "dark brown" when I first wrote this review, but I actually got the DEEP brown...based on reviews, the dark brown sounded too warm-colored.] The extensions are easy to put in, reasonably comfortable, and really beautiful. I thought I'd need a second set, based on reviews, but I didn't. Fullness-wise, I feel like 1 set is enough. But if you want extra fabulous, extra sexy hair, and you're young enough to pull it off, you might want another set, or get a set of 16" and a set of 18" so you have a layered look, or to blend shoulder length hair into a super-long length. [EDIT: I originally wrote that I was thinking of ordering a 16" length to fill in between my hair length and the "super long length of the 18" set," but I now realize I actually bought the 16" set according to my order history...which is weird, because they are actually around 21" long, curled up, although that's after relaxing somewhat over time, and about 24" long when pulled straight, top to bottom]. They're usually pretty comfortable for a few hours at least. Sometimes I'm eager to get them off by the end of the day. They are a little heavy, but not bad. If you're having issues, you may want to make adjustments to the way you put them in. The first time I got a terrible headache. I don't know if that was a coincidence or not, but since then I've had no problems. I must have done something weird when I put them in the first time--I'm just not sure what. So keep trying, don't give up. [EDIT: I haven't had a headache since then.] I've had these for months, and I wear them at least once a week. I brush through them gently with a Jon Renau wig brush, and they are still wavy and a little curly, and in decent shape. They're holding up better than the Hairdo Ponytail extension I bought that is a similar length and hair texture, and spent nine times as much for! I can't recommend these enough. I will be back to buy more when the old ones wear out. I will probably also get a shorter set just for a little fullness, when I don't want the length. UPDATE: Four and a half months later, I still love these hair extensions. Understand that fake hair will tangle, especially the longer it is, and curly hair is worse. I know a lot about wigs and extensions, so I expected that. But it's only in the last week or so that I've had problematic tangling. (If you go dancing and sweating in these, expect them to get ratty right away--I only wear them for normal daily stuff, nothing crazy.) They say never to brush a curly wig or extension, but I can say that plenty of curl is still left in this set, and I always use a brush (but a Jon Renau wig brush--it is the best, and very gentle). It is just now starting to feel dry and tangly. I wish I had some Simply Stylin' silicone spray, meant exclusively for faux hair, to condition the extensions, but I'm going to try a fabric softener rinse until I can get some of that. It may be time to order a new set. No biggie--they cost less than $10!! I could by a new set every month, at that price, and still come out ahead of pricer extensions. In fact, my $90 Hairdo brand super-long ponytail, which I wear less often and gets far less wear and tear than extensions sitting on my shoulders, didn't fare half as well as this Reecho set has. I am a die hard fan, now!

*update* (12" and 20" in color : " Linen") The first time I bought this product my hair reached down to waist length so I bought the 20 inch. That review is below. This time, I bought the 12 inch. I still love this product! The Linen color is a beautiful auburn copper red, and I have purchased different lengths, several times, over the course of several years. This time I purchased because I am growing out a pixie cut and am trying to make it through that awkward middle stage. My hair right now is cut as a bob, and about three inches from the tops of my shoulders, so still quite short. I am not a hair dresser, but this hair piece has such big dense curls that it makes cutting it quite easy. The curls hide any unevenness quite well. The shortest that they had in this color (linen) was 12 inches, and that was way too long to convincingly blend into my own very short hair. I knew the color was a good match, so I cut the 12 inch down to about 6 inches. All of the curls are initially the same length, so I picked out random pieces and portions of curls to cut shorter throughout the extension to create a layered effect to more easily blend with my quite short hair. The shortest pieces are about 3 inches, and the longest at the center of the back without stretching out the curl is about 6 inches, sides are around 4 inches at the very edge of the extension. I just cut it into a rounded arc. I think the finished product is quite lovely! The quality for the price is amazing, and the " hair" is so soft and silky, not plastic-y. I hope they keep making this, I'm positive I will purchase again and again. /////////////////// I was sceptical about this product...even with all of the glowing reviews. To be honest a little sceptical BECAUSE of all of the glowing reviews. Now I get to be a hypocrite... because here is my glowing review...lol. This extension was so soft and beautiful right out of the package. I bought the linen color and it is identical to my hair color, Wich is a dark natural red. I do not think the extension is overly shinny. It does not look like cheap wig hair, or doll hair. The clips are sturdy and construction is excellent. When clipped appropriately, the extension lays flat nicely making it easier to blend the transition where the clips attach into your hair. It is thick, but not so much hair that it looks out of place blended into my very fine hair. I bought this for a costume to add volume to my already very long hair, and got many compliments. I told a couple close friends that I was wearing an extension...and, at first, they didn't believe me. This looks so nice I would not feel self-conscious wearing it out to dinner, or about town. Will most likely buy this again in the future. Shipping time was spot on. Can't beat the price.

Very disappointed. First of all: The colors are not at all like the photos in listing. What was supposed to be "Brown" might as well be BLACK...and the highlighted ends that are supposed to be "Light Brown" are a definite COPPER color. Just an ugly combination by any standards. Secondly: The suggestion in that you buy TWO SETS to get an adequate amount of "fullness and body"....I would strongly urge you NOT to do this. With two sets on my head for less than 30 minutes my head felt as if it were being "pulled down"....after an entire day of work, a night out, etc. I would need a chiropractor for my aching neck...nevermind the migraine headache I would likely have as well. And lastly: The packaging was just inexcusable..!! (After I opened the white Amazon shipping envelope this is what I found...) The packaged extension pieces were jammed up (awkwardly folded) into a gray plastic shipping envelope with 5 tons of packing tape to struggle through...next came a clear plastic sleeve that had to be cut open...inside the sleeve was each extension piece haphazardly shoved into a cheap black hair net...they were a tangled mess just coming out of the hair net. I do not profess to be an expert on hair extensions, but, if this company doesn't think any more of their products than to send them out the way they do that tells me all I need to know. Bottom Line: There's a huge difference between INEXPENSIVE and CHEAP....and these are most definitely of a quality I think are horribly C-H-E-A-P...!!! Update (08/08/18) - Super surprised..!! I never made contact with the distributor OR Amazon either one to express my disappointment in these hair extensions. My mindset was to just chaulk it up to one of those "live & learn" situations...But, much to my surprise I received a FULL REFUND today. I'm not certain if it was the distributor OR Amazon that initiated the refund but I'm both appreciative and impressed. Therefore I am changing my ⭐ STAR rating to a ⭐⭐⭐ STAR rating because someone, whomever it was, took the initiative to make this "wrong" into a "right".

Too heavy for me. Unrealistic

I have been wearing hair extensions for 15 years since I had lost a lot of hair from illnesses and it did not grow back. Plus my hair has always been thin anyway and unmanageable. I spend about $500 a year on extension pieces. I tried these because I could not find a vibrant red color extension elsewhere and there are some great points and bad points ( the bad I have been able to solve to some degree). First, do not be afraid to try the wine color. It is not a natural color but I have matched my roots with Garnier Light Intense Auburn or Medium Intense Auburn in intervals (I’m a medium brunette naturally). Anyhow, every single time I go out I get compliments on the color...every time. It’s a going joke now with my family if I’ll get a compliment when we are out. It’s a stunning color, especially if you are pale-skinned and need to give your complexion some color. The clips are better quality than the expensive hair extensions I’ve gotten in the past. So the bad thing is while the extensions come out of the package flowing like silk, that movement and texture only lasts about three wearings. So, I wear them daily but eventually trim them a little to tidy the look and rough ends. I take a very long time with a Wet Brush brand brush, very carefully working the natty ends. I spray it down with a bit of detangler as well. When I wash them it is with a detangling shampoo and conditioner and scrunch them carefully dry with a towel and then allow to air dry. Then the brushing/detangling ritual begins again. I wear one of these extension pieces every day and through trimming and careful brushing I get about a months worth of mileage before I toss it out and get a new one out of the package. My favorite styles with this are a low side pony, side braid, wrapped head braid and a ponytail. Down, I use a headband to blend my real hair to my extension hair and conceal the seam... or a clip in the back. Lots of versatile styles. Lots of compliments on this color!!!!
