Extremely pleased with this lamp! It’s quite large and looks great in a corner of a room (bonus points if you put it by a mirror!) Easier to set up than I thought, it came assembled and all I had to do was stand it up somewhere, fill it with water (you’ll need a large jug or a hose, it takes quite a few gallons!) and push the fish in! They’re brightly colored and detailed enough that they look quite real from afar. Comes with a remote control (2 AAA batteries needed, not included) and a variety of light settings! Motor has a hum to it but if it bothers you, I’ve found that putting a cloth or rug underneath dampens the noise! Auto shuts off after 8hrs, super nice feature, I typically run it from the time I go to bed until I wake up, and use it as a very BIG nightlight lol. Really adds a cool ambience to a room at night, what can I say!*whatever you read online, do NOT put soap in this. I added just a drop and it became a foamy mess, it’s just not needed! The bubbles from the motor at the bottom are quite sufficient! Aside from that, the only maintenance is just replacing the water every few months (2-3 is good!) and wiping down the tube (it’s plastic so you don’t have to worry about it breaking!) if it gets dusty. I’ve had it for this whole year and it’s not molded or broken on me!Amazing purchase for kids. Or adults, I’m 22 lol.

Packaged well. Easy set up. Works great, lights are bright, fish “swim” well and don’t seem to get stuck. Seems to be good quality! Size is perfect for my classroom!

I was about to return it due to the fact that is it a little bit loud for my son’s sensory room. However , he really fell in love with it and loved the little fish swimming inside of it and all the pretty colors that it changed to. We play music in his room so it helps to cancel out the annoying sound it makes but that is something to keep in mind if you child is sensitive to sounds. He loves it. Easy two buttons to make it work. Just two things to keep in mind is that it’s a little loud and it can be tipped over if you have small kids. It is in the corner of the room. My son doesn’t touch it. It works for us , but it can definitely be tipped over.

Love this! Got it for my autistic daughter but all my kids love it. Same height as my 7 year old!

Sent defective item! Took lamp out of box, unwrapped and filled with water to realize it didn't work. Tried different outlet plugs and remote it came with. Now I'm having to rewrap the lamp and take it to ups. Such a hassle for something that cost nearly $100. And then told by Amazon they can't send a replacement and I would have to reorder at a higher price than the first time ordered. Ridiculous!

I had this sitting in my wishlist for months, maybe even a year. I created a sensory room at home & this was one of the items I wanted most but I was super hesitant to buy it since it is a higher priced item and not really an “interactive” piece, but I’m so glad I decided to do it. It kind of just sets the mood of the space. It makes a humming sound while running & that may bother some but I actually enjoy the noise and I think it adds to the calming effect. When it arrived I was really intimidated because you have to set it up yourself and I was worried I’d do something wrong but literally all you have to do is put in a little less than 2 gallons of distilled water, add the fish, & put the top lid on. My other concern was that it would topple over so I had it set up on the hardwood floor at first but after a day I gained the confidence to carefully move it to the carpeted area which was the area I originally intended to use it in. I did kind of prop it up slightly against the wall just for some added support since this is a child friendly space but the water weight makes it pretty stable on its own! It comes with a remote but also has buttons on the base of the tube to turn it off and change the light settings in case that gets misplaced.
