i really like this product. it dries my skin if i don't put anything underneath it so i usually use niacinamide as a base, then the salicylic acid and a moisturizer to top it off. it takes a week or two to work which isn't always convenient so i would recommend a cream instead for that matter. the texture is really weird, it's oily to the touch but when you rub it in, it completely melts into your skin leaving no oily spots behind. i usually either put a few drops on my hands or a cotton pad since it drips really fast so you have to be careful with it. quality for the price is great, just drying if you already have super dry skin i wouldn't recommend.

As soon as you put this on, you can feel it doing something in your skin haha. It has helped me peel off some dead stubborn skin and scarring over time and it did reduce my acne occasionally. The price is good too considering how most skin products like this can get expensive.

First of all. Packaging was sealed safely and protected, secondly this product is the holy grail. I don’t use it too much on my face but I used it on my bikini line and armpits for ingrown hairs & ingrown cysts. Let me just say, this will leave your bikini line smoother than ever and even out hair growth. It has also evened the skin tone on my armpits. Sometimes used every 2 days but very small amounts. I use it every other night regularly because it’s important to not overdo the amount. 1-2 drops is all you need! Get this as soon as possible!

I’m 41 years old and I have been dealing with acne for the last 30 years. About a year and a half ago, I started to get into a really good skin routine that included a calcium bentonite clay mask and a “prestige” brand of salicylic acid serum. I decided to try another brand’s serum but noticed my acne coming back. That is when I realized that the prestige brand was 2% salicylic acid while the second brand was only 0.5%. Not really wanting to spend the money on the prestige brand if I didn’t have to, I was able to find this for a quarter of the price and honestly I think it works better. A few days into using it, everything has cleared up except for one stubborn blemish that is getting smaller by the day. I mean I had breakouts for weeks and within 3 days, they were gone. Application it a bit tricky with the dropper. I use a facial oil with a dropper and I just put it in my hands and apply like a lotion but I don’t feel like I get good coverage that way so with this I lean my head back slightly and drip the serum in a few places- cheeks, nose, and chin- and then I rub it in. It’s the first thing I put on after cleansing and then layer my moisturizers and facial oil on top. It is mildly drying. I would recommend a hydrating serum, moisturizer and maybe something like avocado oil over it. It feels a bit oily when it goes on. There is no oil in the ingredient list. I find it dries down in about 5 minutes if you allow it to before moving on to other products.

I bought this instead of The Ordinary SA 2% serum but it is too runny. It is more water like than the other serums I’ve had. I prefer the thicker consistency. This also feels a bit harsher, sometimes I feel my face skin warm up after usage. I stopped using this one on my face but I use it on my knees/legs since it’s thicker skin. I thought it would help lighten old mosquito bites and scars. Will not repurchase for face purposes but seems good for body.
