I am an Orthodox catechumen and figured I should get a prayer rope to help with my daily prayers. I figured 100 was a good option, so I expected that for the price I got it at the time ($8.99). Made in china, I'm guessing by a machine, theres only about 90 or so. I was really hoping for a traditional 100-knot rope, but its a big let down.

This looks exactly like the photo. It is very sturdy. Although I would not call it soft, it should not be abrasive to your knuckles. When they madde it, they obviously did it out of love for God. It is very high quality.

The knots aren't very well tied. But for the price it's a good option.
