Fits well under other clothes, not lumpy or obtrusive. Well made. Can take weights out easily. Small weights, so well balanced. I bought it to strengthen bones and joints.

I'm not a fitness freak but a 57 year old woman recently diagnosed with osteoporosis as the result of a private bone density scan. As a result I was told to do more weight bearing exercise to improve my bone density and if possible to get a weighted vest. I scoured the internet but did not like most of what I found. I knew that if the vest didn't fit properly or made me look like a terrorist (I kid you not) that I would be loathe to wear it. I came across this vest as part of my online research and was dithering because of the price. However, I had joined a FB support group for those with osteoporosis so I asked other members how they were adding weights to their walking routine. One woman said she had this vest and that it was a very comfortable fit. I decided to take the plunge and although I have only worn it a few times I am very pleased so far. The lacing means that the vest fits very well, really it hugs the body rather than hanging off the shoulders. The fabric is quite soft and nothing cuts in to the body or rubs. Because the weights are so small I've taken most of them out and am beginning with just 1 kilo of additional weight. I used a teaspoon handle to lever out the weights which otherwise are a little awkward to get out. I'm very pleased with my purchase and when I wear it I hardly know I have it on.

Please with this vest but yeah I'd say it is a small fit.

This is a great product. I ordered size based on sizing chart but it was too small. Supplier was great and changed to next size up which is perfect. Great customer service.

Bought as a present for my son. He says it is great will be buying more weights for it soon I think.

So disappointed I was sent a second hand item and the box old and damaged.

Pros: The build quality, materials, stitching are all superb. Better that most of my clothes if not all of them. The small steel plates are super discrete and contour to your body. It feels more comfortable wearing it than not. I wear it whenever I leave the house (including to work via London Underground) and no one notices. It also looks super stylish that you can wear it as a jacket in the summer and not be mistaken as a terrorist like some other weighted jackets look like. Cons: It comes with 10lbs which is not much for a man. I think my 75yr mum can wear a 10lb vest. OK, maybe 8lbs, but for me it was nothing. I immediately invested in another 10lbs of weights (about £80-£100) and now it's perfect for me. I do a lot of walking and the benefits are passive that it just boosts what I am already doing. After 2 weeks I can already feel my leg / thigh / bum muscles becoming firmer. The only real bad thing about this vest is the plastic clips on the end of the strings. They are useless for a weighted jacket and kept pulling loose. I removed them and just tied some knots. Next: I am so impressed by the small weights, I am wondering if there are more clothes using them, like weighted wrists or weighted feet.

The vest fits perfectly to the contours of your body, allowing full range of motion during exercise, without constricting breathing. The material is soft yet durable, and the weights are small and smooth. Highly recommend.

I have tried other vest only to get annoyed with the velcro straps, shoulders falling off etc. I highly recommend this vest for additional resistance, easy to wear and great fit. Easy to use with a vest under to support this weighted vest and you're good to go. Watch youtube for physio support with this vest, it's amazing. The weights are so easy to adjust, like removing a chocolate bar. True to size according to your weight. I use a Medium - when I saw it in the box I was sure it was going to be too small, but on trying it on, it was perfect and you have to adjust the sides only. It gets 5 stars for sure!
