Inorganic Spectroscopic Methods: 62 (Oxford Chemistry Primers) Paperback – Illustrated, 27 Aug. 1998

Covers a lot of subjects in one go. Each is done in enough detail to give you a good overview of what the different techniques are about without blathering on in too much details. There are better texts for that sort of thing.As I've found with most of the Oxford Primers for Chemistry they have a LOT of detail in a very dense and concise volume. You will probably find that a single paragraph can give you several pieces of important information. It is one of those books that you can pick up and simply read though from cover to cover (if you feel the need to).I bought it because it was in the recommended reading list for a module on Inorganic Spectroscopy at University. My lecturer even brought his copy to each lecture and would refer to it at different times. I know this will get a LOT of use over its life.A non too shabby and inexpensive tool.

Like many textbooks, the readability is abysmal. I found myself having to re-read paragraphs multiple times to understand anything, complete waste of money, just use the internet to be honest. You don't need this book.If you struggle to read books, you aren't stupid, they are poorly written. Readability "the quality of being legible or decipherable"
