it's okay if you write on it w pencil and ball pen but don't take a chance w gel pen it will smudge no matter how long u keep it to dry. Second of all it is NOT paper, it's plastic and the back side can't be used at all- the front side is like scotch tape or like it has a waxy matte coat over where you can easily glide your pencil across, easy to write on it it's smooth af. The adhesive is a bit strong so be a lil mindful when you stick it on something, you don't want the first layer of your paper stick itself on the sticky note lol.
