I have nothing but praises for Sharkbite technology. It’s amazing what they’ve done a little bit on the pricey side, but the convenience of not soldering your pipes. Also, I was able to get myself out of utilizing these overall extremely happy to use to put together installation zero leaking the performance is phenomenal, I’m just extremely happy it’s self-explanatory. Works well
I replaced my outdoor sillcock faucets using this connecting up to our 1/2 inch PEX. Even though they say it takes less force to use it took a lot to put it in. Make sure your cut is straight and use the depth guide and deburr tool Sharbite sells for cheap and you won't have to worry about it. For screwing it on I used just a couple wraps of teflon tape and blue Megaloc to ensure there is no leaks. I screwed it all the way down using wrenches.I know some plumbers would say these are temporary only but I have the non-max style I used for my water heater and those have no leaks years later. I will be checking for leaks in the coming weeks/months though just for the piece of mind.

Easy install
Follow the directions for installing the SHARKBITE Connections and you will be successful. I used the Sharkbite connection on the waterheater pipes, which operates at 55 psi, and have been no leaks of what so ever.

Work great
These have worked so well that I've stopped using anything else on PVC/CPVC. The only drawback may be in situation where a hard mount is needed since they don't stop the pipe from rotating.

Best price for the amount you get.

Great connector.
Yes they are more money then a barbed connector with a crimp ring but they are so much easier to use. No worry about getting the crimp wrong and if I have issues with my pipe the fact I can take the pipe out and change it is very helpful.
