After an incident years ago we have a terror of jammed seat belts on kids. These devices work as designed, they stop them opening up the belt, but you need a key to open them, I would have liked to see some sort of emergency catch release in case the key was forgotten, you can set the device without the key and not realise you do not have it. I accept the kids could learn the emergency release if fitted, but what can I say, seat belts can trap a kid in a burning car as well as keep them safe in a crash. Have had extra keys cut for us so we can keep a couple in the car just in case, not hard to do, just cut and shape a piece of scrap to match the rectangular release. But ideally I think you should have to use the release key to set the lock and make sure you have it with you. Alternatively keep a seat belt cutter in your car, they save lives.

The concept is good but unfortunately it did not fit on correctly to allow the seat belt clip into place, it looks as though the moulding is not the right way round. I drive a Toyota 7 seater bus.

I have seen a couple of comments saying about the size of these but they fit perfectly on my car and i would have a problem with the size however the seller has included the dimensions for the lock guard so its on other if they're not making sure the size is right. As for the design of it i have zero issues, it fits does its job and is a fair price for what it is you're getting so happy days.

These wouldn’t fit the seatbelts in my Mitsubishi or Audi as they were too small but if the fitted I imagine they would work well

These are well made, looks like they'll do a good job and i got them to prevent the dog unclipping her seat belt that connects to her harness when in the car. Unfortunately it didn't fit either car i have access too. It's just too small to fit over seat buckle socket. As a rough measurement i found the socket needs to be 4.8cm x 3cm or less to be on the safe side. This looks like it'll be great for the right sized buckle sockets, my advice is double check your sizing before ordering. * Update * Tried a third car, it slipped over tightly and worked well
