Great Choice for NAS
Very Reliable and suits NAS use perfectly

Wasted my money
I was thinking I should not invest such amount in an online purchase... but I did... Now I can regret only. Hard disk is making a lot of noise, I can't trust it it may broke any time. Some ding ding and buzz noise. Really worried now as I can't use it to rely on it as my data will be save. so Wasted my money.

Ho voluto provare la versione PRO , che ha una rotazione superiore rispetto al solito . Per quel che riguarda il prodotto in generale non ho nulla da dire .. gli hdd WD Red sono una sicurezza. Devo però esprimere un giudizio negativo sulla rumorosità , dovuta alla rotazione superiore . Ho il Nas sotto il mobile TV chiuso e nonostante tutto si percepisce il ronzio continuo del hdd....è parecchio fastidioso . Penso che in futuro acquisterò un Seagate che gira a 5900 per vedere se risolvo il problema rumorosità.

J'avais commandé deux pièces et je les ai reçues très rapidement. Elles étaient bien emballées chacune dans une boîte d'origine de vente au détail. Je recommande ce produit pour installer dans un système RAID (NAS ou ordinateur avec un contrôleur RAID).

Not sure if the norm, but my multiple drive orders were delivered internationally in their original individual retail packages, so despite being under-padded and left to slide around in the amazon box they came in, the drives themselves were fully sealed and legitimately protected from damage. Have run the drives in for a few weeks now in my NAS with parity checks during initialisation, and had no issues with drives. Highly satisfied with this purchase bought at a banger price.

Bought 2. Works fine, manufacture date was the same year as my purchase date, packaging by Amazon was also done well. Ran tests on both and there were no bad sectors and virtually all sectors had fast read/write speeds. It’s been around 1-2 months since I bought it and hope they last.
