Great 5’ tie out cable
Exactly the 5’ cable tie out we were looking for our Teddy Bear puppy enabling her to be with us as we move around the year with us while doing yard work.

Secure and flexible
This is the perfect size and length for my 2 months old PitBull mix to keep her in control and very suitable size for training her. Am very happy with this purchase and would rate it 5 stars.

Woo - this is a great assist
I'm a petsitter and boy-oh-boy, this is great for many things. Sometimes I have a "runner" when I open the door. Hooked up to my door, I can open my patio without someone darting out. This is also great when I need to dog to chill out. I hook them up on it instead of putting them in a kennel. Free to roam, but not running amuck. Also great for the biters trying to teeth their way through the cable. I say, "That's not going to work, buddy!" heeeheeehee! Wish they had other colors.

Durable, Unchewable Tether
Our puppy reacted very badly to crate training. A canine behavior expert recommended we try tether training instead. You still teach the dog who's boss; they don't get free rein. You can loop this around a sturdy unmovable piece of furniture, like a large sofa footing and then fasten it to the dog's harness. (Please use a harness, not a collar, to prevent choking.)Our dog responded well to the tether training. As an adult, we only use this tether now to keep him controlled when we have guests in the house. He doesn't mind it at all. It's got a good plastic coating over the metal cable within so if a dog chews on it, he won't get metal splinters in his mouth.

Seems fine - for now
We have an 11 month old alpha Labrador who loves to chew, has needle teeth, and is whip smart. He constantly finds the weak point in every leash we’ve had and chews through it fast. We’ve been asked by our trainer to leash him while he’s in the house with the family. Given his ability to power through rope, leather, etc. we turned to this as our “leash” specifically for inside the house. There aren’t many failure points on something like this. The metal parts like the cable and terminal joints seem sturdy and fine. The dog has chewed through the joint covers and has punctured the PVC cable coating, but that was expected. The carabeaner end is fine but the carabeaner itself seems of potentially dubious quality. Has been ok so far though. To me, the question is how long this cable holds up over time. The only way to figure that out is to keep using it and report back if there are any premature failures.

Great for sporting events
I got this for a shorter tie down for kids sport events. Works great I can even clip it to the tail gate or ground anchor, it’s a perfect length for our large dog.

Perfect for my Velcro Dog
My pup is a Velcro Dog in the making, meaning she feels the need to be attached to me at all times. It's been a battle to tell her to go lay down and relax every 5 minutes. Many things have been knocked off my coffee table in her haste to get to me the moment I so much as move a finger. This short leash is the perfect solution. I can finally enjoy my dog being out with us and not be in my face all the time. It's already proven to be a great tool for training her to enjoy her own company and realize she doesn't need to be under my feet all the time. My dog hates chewing on this leash, so I no longer have to constantly check to she if she's chewing on it instead of her appropriate toys.Obviously, this is not meant to be a permanate solution. Once my dog understand and settles into her own space, I think this leash will be perfect to use when we have young guests (she loves kids, but she becomes a total nuisance) or clip her to my belt when we walk to be hands-free.Tl;dr:10/10, great training tool!

Too heavy for puppy or small dog
This is advertised for small dog or puppy. This product is TOO HEAVY for their fragile neck. The hardware needs to be lighter. I will return the product
