Aker LeatherProducts 167 "Nightguard Shoulder Holster Fits M3/TLR-1/TLR-2 Glock 17/22

This is my second holster from Aker Leather so I wasn't surprised by the outstanding quality of this product. This holster displays a level of fit and finish that one would normally find on a much more expensive holster. The product is well molded of thick sturdy leather and I have no doubt that it will hold up under heavy use for many many years. This holster fits my M&P45 with TLR2s snugly yet allows for a smooth, fluid draw. Carry height is good for those looking for a "mid-ride" holster.

Rides very high, use a stiff belt!

Exactly as described, beautiful high quality leather, and the quality I've come to expect from Aker. No problems with weapon fit with TLR-1, retention screw is adjustable to add additional layer of security. My 1.5" 5.11 leather belt fits through the loops perfectly.This is NOT a concealment holster, I purchased this solely for use while on the job for details requiring a dress shirt and tie. Understand it's not meant for concealment, and you'll be throughly impressed.

Extremely tight fit, taking a long time to break in. This hotter rides very high, making draw and presentation difficult at best. Will likely end up migrating to the bottom of the ubiquitous "box of holsters."

Very tough leather, very well made. Tough as nails. Brake in tested my patience, now 2 years later I couldn't be happier. This guy has been in the ocean on my side, the lake on my side, the river on my side, and lots of other places no normal person would take a gun. Extremely remote locations. Trust my life to it now. Very tough thick leather. Rides nice. Carries well. Not great for concealment, although it can be done. You know what all this talking I am going to order another one for a spare because I have abused this so much and it just keeps on taking it.

The holster I received is not the same model of the holster pictured.The holster I received is indeed the aker nightguard, but the picture from the seller shows an aker nightguard in a matte black finish with white stitching. I wanted that color scheme and that is why I ordered from this site.However, I received an aker nightguard with a shiny high gloss finish and black stitching. Not what I wanted at all.The holster itself is okay. Fits the weapon very securely. Stays secure and in one place on the belt. Not the best quality I've ever seen, but not bad. The belt loop on the back side of the holster is very wide, meaning that you have limited placement on a belt due to belt loops on your pants. The only other thing I don't like is that there is a large enough gap in the holster around the trigger guard that I can actually stick my finger into the holster and pull the trigger on my weapon. The trigger itself rides right at the edge of the leather, with part of the trigger guard above the leather. I prefer a holster that completely covers the trigger guard, and didn't realize this holster did not.Low rating is due to the seller sending me a completely different leather scheme than pictured, and the mediocre holster design.

great product for police work

Good holster but the pancake version sits closer to the body. Get it instead.
