The first day I had them the buttons/rivets popped off and now it has been a week of casual wearing them and more buttons/rivets popped off. I love these because it gives the wearer a dapper kind of look if worn with good looking clothes. I ordered the black pair after wearing these for two weeks and when I received the black pair the leather was triple the thickness of the original straps that I ordered. One of the buckles is extremely loose on the black straps and I noticed this upon arrival. How I fixed the straps when the rivets broke on the original straps, I fastened them with a zip ties and I have had no problems since. Now my Original straps have two zip ties fastened to two separate rivets. I don't mind this at all. I'm 6' 4" feet and inches tall and I weigh 260lbs so I am definitely a big dude with broad shoulders and a fat, dad body gut, so I am leaning towards that being the issue with the broken rivets. I definitely love these straps and I feel you get a great deal with what you pay for. I have ordered two pairs of these straps and I definitely like that they are genuine leather and yes they loosen up over wearing them consistently, casually for about a week. I recommend this product and give it 4 stars only because of the easily popped off rivets and the original distressed straps being a heck ton thinner the the Black Straps I ordered afterwards. I wish the original straps were as thick like the second straps that I received. These straps look pretty dapper and I definitely love mine.
