Alembic Distillation Vessel with end 24/40 Joint (500mL)

When my initial purchase arrived broken, customer service promptly offered a replacement and shipped it out very quickly. I wouldn't hessitate to order from this company again.

The bulb says 1000ml but it's definitely smaller than my other 1000ml round flasks, maybe 750ml? Also, the arm comes off at a pretty steep downward angle and none of my standard angled take off adapters will point a fitting straight down, its pretty darn off. That's not a SUPER big deal functionality wise but it is kind of annoying and does limit the addition types of condensers one could attach. Considering this alembic head is part of a 4-6 hundred dollar "pellican" distillation kit, you'd think they would have matched the angle to existing takeoff adapter angles, or at the very least suggested an appropriately angled bent tube with ground fittings. I've looked all through what they're selling here onnthe zon and while they sell versions of this alembic without a ground fitting that has a bent arm coming off which points straight down towards the end, its not a ground fitting. I'll have to find the angle so I can search for an appropriate fitting that'll work with this cool glass Alembic. If not I think I may have to buy a strait tube with ground fittings and bend my own adapter.

Exactly what it needs to be. Zero damage on arrival. Well made.You guys need to make one of these that is double walled with water inlets. This way you could cool the dome. Kind of like a double walled reactor.
