As we all know, yes, is not recommended to drink alcohol while you are breastfeeding. It causes too many damages to your baby growth, health, and much more. If you decide to drink alcohol I really recommend this brand. Before I bought this alcohol test I read reviews of mommies checking if the strips work by putting drops of alcohol mix with breastmilk and everyone says it work. For me that didn't give me much trust, but I still purchased it. I hope my story gives you more info and it helps you decide whether you can trust this brand test results or not. I started drinking around 11:30 pm and stopped around 4 am. I drank 4 corona beer and 1 shot of tequila. I decided to express my milk (pump it out) because my breast felt full. I follow the test strips instructions and made sure test wasn't expired. I had .02% of alcohol in it, so obviously that milk had to get dump (about 9 ounces). I went to sleep (drank 1 bottle of water) and test again at 9am (drank another bottle of water) and test result came out with 0% of alcohol in my breastmilk. I expressed about 6 ounces of milk to make sure I am testing a good amount of milk. I pour some of it in a small cup, so the strip do not touch what my baby is actually eating.

Having these on hand has been super helpful. There’s been a couple times. I was a little, unsure whether or not to keep or jump my breastmilk and these gave me some really good insight.
