made in China. Not pastel. Not matte. These are jewel tone and SHINY. I have no idea if it's the bamboo added or some kind of chemical that makes them shiny, but they itch me. They are not slouch hats, as pictured, but symmetrical, like a normal knit hat/beanie/toque.. They are a double layered hat, not single as listed.Might work for some people, but not right for me.

I bought these because I wanted cooler beanies to wear in the workshop and barn to keep my hair clean and cut the chill without being overly warm. I was wanting something very lightweight. I'd call these mid-weight fabric and the material is doubled over.. They are not much cooler than a knit beanie. They are a good price and fine if you wanted something warmer, but they weren't the ticket for me.

Got these for my BF who likes to sleep in a hat all year long. He has a pretty big head and I got the regular size and they fit fine. He likes them because they are long enough to pull down over your eyes. Which he also likes for blocking out light. They are comfortable and not itchy or scratchy like some. The colors are good and the shipping was fast.

My husband shaves his head. He was covering his head with the blankets at night because his head would get cold. These fit him really well, not as slouchy as the photo, just a bit longer than a standard winter hat. They are soft and very stretchy. He said they keep his head warm at night! He has even worn one outside for walks in the fall/ spring. I like that they come in a set of three so they can get washed often.

I like these hats okay, except I find them much too hot to wear indoors. The double layer of fabric doesn't breathe -- even in chilly weather they get too hot wearing them in the car. Even so, I doubt if they'd be warm enough in extremely cold weather. These would probably be good to wear outdoors when the weather was around 30 or 40 degrees.

My father loves them. And the colors are great. And they stay on, even though he tosses and turns when he sleeps. Addition: My fabulous father passed away a few years ago (and now he's everywhere, always in my heart) and yay I inherited (made-sure-I-got) this soft and snuggly hats. I'm one of those folks who's always cold. These snuggle me and keep me warm and match all my outfits. Yay.

Love these cotton light weight caps. I bought these to cover my head after my chemo treatment. They work great during day time or night time as sleep caps. They are light weight so they don't make me sweat that much. I throw them in the washing machine and regular drying temperature and they didn't shrink at all.

Hats are fun and comfy. More useful to this baldy in winter months, but they're generous enough to pull down over my eyes to shield the light in any season. I like them, especially the bright colors--which can be hard to find in something for men.
