All these peaces are handy but I use some of them more often. The extension is nice and all the items are easy to clean when done using them.

Good product I do wish it was a little longer so I could reach the bottom of my tank

I have a 30 gallon tank that seems to be just a little too deep for a lot of tools. I like that this tool expands so I can keep at least one hand out of the water while cleaning!This set comes in a plain cardboard box. The instructions are on the back of the box. The pieces are nestled in a piece of plastic foam with cutouts to secure the items. The net is nice and big in comparison to the similar toolset I bought at the pet store -- assuming you don't have fish that aren't more than 5-6 inches long. The fork and the gravel/sand smoother are the reasons why I bought it; my plants seem to get dislodged easily while they're taking root, so being able to hold them with the fork, then rearrange the gravel when I'm done is wonderful. The scraper works well. I like the sponges, too, particularly the right-angle sponge to clean the corners. The nano-technology it claims seems to work much better than the other tools I've had. One pass and the stubborn algae is gone.I'm not too certain what I'll do with the tube brush, since the connector to the brush is larger than the tube so it doesn't really need to be on the extension handle. It does say the brush is bendable, so maybe I can scrub algae off of the decor with it?The connecting mechanism seems to be very secure. There's a dial on the side that needs to be aligned so the tool can connect, then turned 90 degrees to lock it in. The hook on the top of the handle is a nice touch -- I'll have to rearrange my storage to utilize it so it's always handy. No more excuses to clean the tank tomorrow.

The pieces from the kit work pretty good.
